Ahhh, Doctor Who and Torchwood. Doctor Who's, like, this sci-fi-alien thing about this guy who travels in time and saves civilisations. Ahaha, sounds v.v.geeky, yes? It's actually quite funny though, and quite 'complex', but people still see it as geeky. What the hell, I'm geeky and I'm proud?
Torchwood is like..a kind of related show, made by the same people.. a bit more "post-watershed" with more sex drugs rock'n'roll going on, but there all kinda intertwined. John Barrowman's in it ^^ you should watch them, on, say, surfthechannel.com. Again, I know it's illegal, but.... I feel bad for breaking the law now ;D

Kidulthood's about the kind of gang culture in London and it follows these teenagers and it shows how it affects them and the consequences of violence that happen in London about 10 times a day; it's dead sad :[

Anyway they're all really good *blush*

Oh, I've read My Sister's Keeper, I really liked it. I love how her novels make you think? I've not read any of her other ones, cause I'm low on money right now and my mum and dad "don't see the point in buying me books". Creeps.

Yes and Angel your cat's adorable <333 ! I have a cat, I'll get some pics of her sometime

I just gave a full review on some shows there aha. I'm going to stop now...?

Fathom - May 16, 2008 02:24 AM (GMT)
Plastic surgery? Are you kidding?

You're way too pretty for that!

Plus, plastic surgery only messes up people. Look at Micheal Jackson and Ashley Tisdale for instance, ha ha.

Fren - May 16, 2008 06:28 PM (GMT)
Thanks ;p But I can't help but see myself as filthy stinkin' ugly. Teenage girl symptom, perhaps? Dunno.

I guess you're right about plastic surgery though  I'd be so scared incase I got lots then woke up one day like "I look like MJ & the only way I can change it is more surgery", total viscious circle ?Scary ha o-o.

See, I like this ^^ Now everyone knows everyone a bit better ^_^

Perhaps. I always found myself not particularly attractive. <.< It was a big problem. But my (at the time boyfriend, now fiance) helped me boost my confidence.

So yeah. Plus some odd conversations I accidentally stumbled upon :eyepop:

Plus, plastic surgery is X-PEN-SIV!

Poor Tasmine, we totally highjacked her thread. XD

Long post is looooooooooooooonnnnnnggggg.

Name: Ehehehehe.... I'll probably never be unparanoid enough to say...

Online name: Zita or WhiteWolfZita. May be "White Wolf Zita" with spaces on really old accounts.

Gender: Female

Character names: Dear lord, quite a list. Duvessa, Skath, Silven, Zine Aldasia, Larion, Mesmiardes, Randwyn, Sosanna, Ygahn... may have forgot one or two...

Age: 15, will be 16 as of the 22nd

Whereabouts: Northeast Ohio, born and raised

-Movies: Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Matrix, Over the Hedge, Shrek, anything from Pixar.... STAR WARS! (how could I forget?!) Alien, Tremors, heck, it's a long list and I give up. @_@ You get the general idea of what kinds of stuff I like...

Favorite books: (buckle your seatbelt)
The Lord of the Rings, because who doesn't? (Tolkien)
The Lost World, which holds a dear place in my heart (Michael Crichton)
Raptor Red, an absolutely fascinating book about a female utahraptor (Robert T. Bakker)

Ender's Game, I COMMAND EVERYBODY I KNOW TO READ THIS! READ, DANGIT! >.< (Orson Scott Card)
Harry Potter, laugh I dare you. (Rowling)
Animorphs, because I feel no shame. The ending was made of such absolute and utter fail it made me throw the book in disgust at the out-of-characterness and cheese. (K.A. Applegate, with TONS of ghostwriters)
Pendragon, though I haven't liked the recent books as much as the earlier ones (MacHale)
Dune, though I haven't finished it yet due to lack of free time (Frank Herbert)

Favorite bands: @_@
Matchbox-20

Nickel Creek
Other than that, I'm pretty eclectic.

Favorite Video Games: (replacing genres with this, you already know I'm a sci-fi/fantasy nerd)
360- Halo series (I love Chief. ^_^ *high fives other Halo fans again*), The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Viva Pinata
Xbox- Psychonauts (LOVE! So much LOVE words cannot explain. Let's just say awesome and amazing had a baby.), Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords (EVEN MORE LOVE! I am OBSESSIVE, though I don't have my own copy of II..... yet....)

PS2- The Jak and Daxter trilogy/combat racing (II is my favorite), Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Duelists of the Roses (Yes, it's dumb. But I love it anyway.), Monster Rancher 4 (I haven't seen a copy in years. I'd kill for one.), Kingdom Hearts.... I think I've forgotten some. @_@
Classic PS- The original Spyro the Dragon trilogy (the new ones kinda suck), Crash Team Racing, Yu-Gi-Oh!: Forbidden Memories, Tai Fu: Wrath of the Tiger

Gamecube- The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, The Legend of Zelda: The Windwaker, Poke'mon Colloseum, Super Mario Sunshine, Mariokart: Doubledash, Super Smash Bros. Melee
N64- Poke'mon Snap, Poke'mon Puzzle League, Poke'mon Stadium 2, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (technically Gamecube on this one, we got a special edition disc)
Gameboy/GBC/GBA- I own a copy of every single "traditional" Poke'mon title (Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, Fire Red, Leaf Green, and Emerald) except for Gold, which I intend to buy from my little brother for $5 or so the next time I remember. Other than that: Poke'mon TCG, and the only other gameboy game I own is Monster Rancher Advance. I've played MRA 2 (which is BETTER!) and Zoids: Legacy. The latter was very Engrishy, but I loved it just the same.
DS- Poke'mon Diamond (am working toward getting my claws on Pearl for no reason other than collector's instinct), The Phoenix Wright series (LOVE!), Hotel Dusk: Room 215, The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass

Anything else you want to say:

and
"My motto is "No shame, no game". I have no shame, and I really suck at games."

Fren - May 17, 2008 11:47 PM (GMT)
I like it ;D finding out about people and all :]

Ohh, Animorphs! When I was younger I used to buy them every time they came out, but then the shop I got them from stopping buying in.. I've got to about 46, I think, and I still want the others ! Unashamed B).

I'm stuck in a bit of LOZ: Windwaker D: Can't for the life of me get past it </3.

Lol yeah I am totally shameless. I so don't mind doing embarrasing things?

Infact, recently I got beat up for it ^^;. Me and a friend were doing our own version of 'Jackass' for a joke, right, and we were doing stuff like,

-going into the movies with ridiculously huge headphones on and singing loudly and off-key throughout
-going to a bird sanctuary and coughing and sneezing constantly, "accidently" scaring off the birds people were watching
-getting together millions of pennies and going out to the shops, buying things for £10 and paying entirely in pennies.

Which, in my opinion, is downright hilarious? Maybe not for others, though x-x' ..

Childish? Yes. Drunk? Oh, yes. Anyway, after the movies a guy just randomly went crazy, like, "you ruined that movie for me!!!" and totally beat on me crazily o_o. His friends pulled him off, and I got one of their numbers, so it's all good :kitty:

Shameless, I keep on truckin' ^_^.

Radon - May 18, 2008 12:31 AM (GMT)
A few things to say:

- *High fives Magic* Yay, another AVP fan! I'm a diehard fan of all the movies in both the alien and predator series. You should go to alienlovespredator.com and read the comic there. It's amazing. It's about an alien named Abe and a predator named Preston living together in the big city. I usually laugh at every new update... most of the time.

- Zita besides the fact that you enjoy reading (Bleh x.x), you're too similar to me. It's creepy. Fix it.

I can't believe I forgot to list RvB under my favorite shows (I just watched the whole series again over the course of last week since I have the dvds). And I didn't know anyone else in existence even knew what Tremors was. Those were my FAVORITEST MOVIES EVERER when I was little (I was a corrupted child. Forget playing with dolls and makeup. I poked fish eyes for a hobby and enjoyed watching movies such as Tremors and Jaws). Again, it was/is another one of my crazy addictions only not as much because not a single person who I actually physically know, knows what it is.

And the one book you listed, Raptor Red, I heard about it somewhere before but seeing you mention it reminded me to look into it. Now I want to read it. Thanks for costing me another $8 in the near future >.< And I loved guardians of ga'hoole when I read it but I too stopped reading after about book nine... but I still own all of the ones that exist. I should get around to reading them.

And don't even get me started on video games. Halo <-- That's the way to go. But I <3 Viva Pinata to no end and I love Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis (I have the PS2 version) and Zoo Tycoon. And Kingdom Hearts.

- Fren, that is amazing. You should make your little version of the Jackass movie and videotape it. I'd watch it ^^

Magic - May 18, 2008 01:54 AM (GMT)
is it me or is most everybody on this site is female?? 0_o

Radon - May 18, 2008 02:08 AM (GMT)
Sorry Magic but I think that's common with most animal roleplays. Many guys don't see the coolness in writing a story from an animal's point of view. Or writing in general. But then there are the select few that do :wolfrun2:

Magic - May 18, 2008 02:14 AM (GMT)
well i think its cool i love writing infact i love writing stories but i never really finish them because i dont get enough time on my hands because of school but this summer i have alot of time also i always wanted to be a wolf or feel like one but in real life you dont have that chance only in your dreams and imagination thats why i love writing it doesn't have to be real!

Radon - May 18, 2008 02:35 AM (GMT)
And you're one of not-so-many guys who realize that. And are willing to admit it. B)

Zine Aldasia - May 18, 2008 03:22 AM (GMT)
Good for you, Magic! *noogies* :P
Most guys don't seem to feel secure enough with their macho-ness to be willing to admit writing is cool.

Yay OED, my strange internet twin! XD
I'm more of an indoorsy type if that helps lower the creepiness. ;) I have what I call my lovely gamer tan that I think I've mentioned, sheet white from head to toe. I do competition pistol shooting, but other than that I sit around all the time. >.<

The most corrupting thing I had in my childhood was... OH MY GOD I FORGOT TO MENTION JURASSIC PARK! How could I DO that?! I grew up on that movie! I SCARED PEOPLE WITH MY OBSESSIVENESS!

I was the kid that took the clothes from her Barbies and put them on her toy dinosaurs. :D

Signature - May 18, 2008 04:07 AM (GMT)
Yeah 99.9% of SotW is female players. My fiancee teases me about it, teehee, so I in turn tease him about his obsessive CounterStrike playing. Thought it is amusing to play...but not so much to lead to obsessiveness.

Magic: Wow, that last post of yours was an UBER long sentence. Talk about run-on! (Sorry, I just finished English IV AP  you must forgive me.)

Zita: I read uhm, the first Guardians of Ga'Hoole. I've just never a chance to read the others, and forget.

Hm. I also like the Warriors series, it's great! And *scrolls down* Oh, not so much one for the obsessing over HP. *shakes head* They are decent, but mucho better books out there.

I LOVE Zoo Tycoon! I've recently relapsed and become addicted once more ;)

ROCK BAND! Sam just bought Rock Band, and you bet I'm loving it.

Anubis - May 18, 2008 04:22 AM (GMT)
*gasps*

And OH-MY-GOSH I can't believe I forgot this amazing series in my previous post!!!!!

The series called A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin. It is a GREAT series. There are 5 printed, two more are in the making however. The next one should be out soon...

They are long, so if you aren't into reading or long books, these may not be for you. However, I recommend them to everyone and anyone!

Er...except maybe Magic. He's a little young for them. They are mature books. But they are A-Mazing.

JURASSIC PARK!?!? *Goes to re-edit original post* HOW DID I FORGET THAT!?!? I just went and bought a set of all three movies last month I think because up until then we only had them on VHS tapes.

But yeah, another obsession of mine (Just kept creepin' me out Zita >_<). Ever since I was one year old I've had a collection of toy dinosaurs and it's still growing (Yes, I admit I still play with them. Not as often as I used to but I still do nonetheless). I <3 dinos ^^

And I looked up that series Jess. Just reading the description of them started bothering me. Sorry but being a not-so-readish person, I don't think I'd had the patience to read anything long or difficult  .

And yay! Katie joined the posting! (Way to go Fren, you caused a major OOC gathering :D )

Magic - May 18, 2008 01:58 PM (GMT)
I love jurassic park too!! I had like this sleeping bag with that dinosaur that spits tar at you have its extra skin make a circle boy those things were scary I forgot the name though. I always remembered it. I went crazy when they made games of it. aww those were the days. I still remember that time I had like a inflatable godzilla. I blew it up like every year when i was a kid boy was that thing huge I use to climb it too boy was I a trouble maker. sorry for all the I's -_-

Radon - May 18, 2008 03:19 PM (GMT)
The dinosaur you're referring to is the Dilophosaurus. Man those things are cool. However, I think the makers of Jurassic Park changed their dinosaurs around a bit to make them more interesting. The Dilo isn't really supposed to have those frills around its neck, and the raptors are too big... but that's ok, I love the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park ^^

Magic - May 18, 2008 03:43 PM (GMT)
yea jurrasic park was the movie back in the day i hope they make jurassic park 4 i heard a rumor they would.

Zine Aldasia - May 18, 2008 06:06 PM (GMT)
As far as I know, that one was a very elaborate hoax made by a prominent member/group of members of the dying Jurassic Park community. *sigh*

I effing love reading. <.< Got a lot on my plate right now, but I'll stick my nose into some of the stuff you guys suggested when I find time. :)

GODZILLA?!?!
I only ever saw the 1999ish one, but I've loved the big lizard since childhood. I used to watch the cartoon on Toonami, if anyone remembers it.

The most awesome thing I had (and may still have if my Mom didn't get rid of it when we moved :( ) is this massive handpuppet of the '99 rendition. It was a full body puppet, you had to put your whole arm inside to get up to the head.

I loved it though. I thought it was the coolest thing ever to have a puppet with legs and a tail and such.

Magic - May 18, 2008 11:28 PM (GMT)
OMG i had a godzilla puppit but it was big and had only its head and arms its awesome but i cant find it :( yea i loved the series i remember that guy that always built robots but they kept getting crushed by godzilla XD yea that was the best animated action giant monster series

Anubis - May 19, 2008 09:33 PM (GMT)
I love Jurassic Park! The books, however, are much better than the movies.

When I was little, my favorite part of the Jurassic Park movie was when the man on the toilet got eaten. My grandparents came to pick me up once and we couldn't leave until I saw the man on the toilet get eaten.

Lol. Yes strange.

OMG! I love Indiana Jones; I can't wait until I get to see the new one. Oh! And I LOVE ALL M. Night Shamalayn movies. (er, however his name is spelled). I'm thrilled that a new one is soon to be in theaters.

Aria - July 8, 2008 08:03 AM (GMT)
I'm one of the 'select few'! :)
