[Ok. Um.. Laika is Fren's brother, and I want her to be adopted so we can have gd famly roleplayz. Y'know :3 ? I'm posting the bio for potential adopters, or if no-one takes her, just for me. I'm trying to leave some things open for the adopter to decide, so the history is kinda, non exsistant. Hope that's ok? I'm trying to give some flexibility <33]
-About Yourself-
Online Name: Tasmine ^^ Feel free to call me that, or any variation of it. I think calling me by my character's name is too 'formal' :]

-About Your Character-
Name: Laika
Age: 3
Appearance:
Quite unlike her brother, Laika is a small wolf - 'pint-sized', as she is sometimes affectionately referred to. Her fur is a thick white, with almost no marrs in its bright colour, even in summer. In winter, it is such an uncorrupted white that others often do a double-take: surely, some had said, nature had never dropped a snowflake that light, never mind a wolf. To speak of snow: it gives her an advantage when hunting prey in winter, as they find it harder to spot her. However, her size does impair her strength sometimes, and she will need plenty of assistance to bring down prey such as caribou - she is not the strongest of hunters. Her eyes are a bright green, with the left pupil 'broken', running into the iris. It was one of the flaws that one comes to love about oneself, rather than hating it. She feels it sets her apart, and is especially grateful it is a trait she shares with her brother-come(past)-best-friend.
Like her brother, on the other hand, she always takes pains to be clean. Being proud as she is of her light colouring, what would be the point in dirtying it like a careless pup? Now, to be honest, Laika is a pretty wolf. It mightn't even be her face, appealing as it is, but rather her light-boned frame, her unconcious grace, and how striking she is with her green eyes and pure-white fur. Many wolves want her, and she needs to use this sometimes. Over the past while, she had found herself in quite a few scrapes with wolves, males bigger than herself, and dangerous. Realising she could not hope to fight, she had to charm her way out of the situation by use of her looks. Despite all this, despite how often wolves tell her and make moves on her, she has never been able to see it, the beauty. As far as she's concerned, she is nothing but plain.
Personality:
On the whole she is a charming wolf, quite eloquent and able to joke and wink her way out of trouble, as such. She used to be even more so, and enjoyed getting up to mischeif with Fren, but recent events, and, indeed maturity have played their part in calming her down some. The spirit of it, though, has not left her, and often she finds her self back to her old ways. On first meetings she is quite shy, and on the whole friendly to newcomers, smiling at them but perhaps keeping out of the conversation until the proverbial ice has thawed. On the contrary, sometimes, if the talking turns to something she has a strong opinion on, she will burst forth with it, embarrasment or no. This is happening less and less as she learns to pick her battles. Rarely will she engage in a fight - she is not stupid, and though she can fight surprisingly well for one of her stature, she knows the odds are not often in her favour.
She is so similar to her brother, personality-wise, it's uncanny. Despite the fact that(she does not know this yet, though) Fren has gone 'darker' as he's got older, the base similarities are still there. She, too, holds manners in high regard, and whether or not someone has manners holds strong sway in her initial opinion of them. Aware that first impressions can be wrong, she always takes time to get to know them more, but it definately nudges her in one way or the other. When she gets going in an argument, she tries to express herself clearly, knowing as she does that she is smart and can make a point well. The thing that tempers this ability is her hotheadedness. In her rush to speak and make this all-important point, she often gets tongue-tied and her words stumble over eachother. Again, like her brother, this embarrases her and she will pick back up where she left off, that bit more angry for her humiliation. Her absolute worst peeve is when others pick up on this, be it a mocking smile as her words stumble to a halt or a pointed, out-loud thought about her apparent inability to speak.
History:
[To quote Fren's history:]
"Laika was a small, almost pure white wolf. She shared the same eye defect as Fren, and this unusual bond gave the two a sense of connection. When they were young, they were forever getting into trouble together. Others made light of it, remarking, "They'll be forever bumping into things because they can't see! They've only one pair of eyes between them." This phrase was well-worn throughout their puphood, and they were commonly know as 'Broke-eyes', as in, "Broke-eyes have done it again, I see!"
But when Laika matured into a young she-wolf, it was apparent how much of a beauty she would be. Having imbued her mother's looks, she had such striking green eyes and such a elegant way of holding herself that the males of the pack began to quarrel over who would have her. The Gamma seemed the most appropriate, and Laika had already fallen for him, as such. The two were allowed to be mates, and it was assumed they would soon have pups, so both Laika and her father were happy."
[After Laika left, it's not know what happened to Laika or what caused her to come here, mateless and pupless. However, she never did bear pups by the Gamma. I thought I would give whomsoever as would adopt her the oppertunity to decide what happened, if they wanted. If not, I'll make a quick summary.]
Looks good to me :) Accepted!!! I look forward to RPing Kiwidinok with your Fren!!!
