Hey all,

As many of you may have noticed, I did not keep my promise of coming back a week after my dig to take care of my alphaship duties. For that, I give any and all Skah members or prospects my deepest and most profound apologies. I feel really bad for leaving people in limbo, its not fair to you who actually want to RP and its a problem I've been struggling with the past few months. A week ago, things got even worse.

Our grad director sat all of us first year grad students down and told us everything we need to get accomplished by the end of the semester. By the time she was done talking, I think I had no less than three strokes. >.< In addition to the essays and projects due for my classwork, I need to have a fairly competent understanding (read: have read at least a half dozen to a dozen books) of my thesis topic as well as how it fits into the larger study of anthropology. Not only that, I have to have a 10 (which is considered wimpy) to 20 page proposal written and ready to defend a week or so before April 29. Not to mention all of the other classes I have end of the year project/papers for. To put it lightly....I AM STRESSED!

That being said, I've finally come to a decision. Its selfish of me to continue being Alphess of the Skah pack and as of now, I will no longer be leading the Skah. I cannot say in good faith I will be able to take on the duties and responsibilities an Alphess should. This was hard to do, I really love the Skah as well as SotW, but the time has been long coming.

Now, does this mean I'll be leaving SotW for good? Not by a long shot :-) I'll stick around and hopefully RP on and off to keep my sanity intact. I couldn't leave this site for good...I think I'm stuck for life ;-)

Also, who will lead the Skah? Good question, Gilly's been gone for some time and there are very few active members there. That is a question that the other Admins and I will be considering for a while and as soon as something is decided, we'll be sure to let everyone know.

I still don't know what to recommend we do with the Skah, it seems like all the heirarchy members are inactive. *furrows brows*

That kind of sucks, I don't think are very many actual active members of the Skah, most of the topics really have died and most of the people now role playing there are new to the site. I personally though you were about as active as most of the other Skah members, yet I wouldn't want the added pressure to post with all that work either so I don't blame you and believe it was a responsible decison.

We all understand your decision my Digger darling, but are you still keeping Kisu around? Even if she's not the Alpha Female of the Skah. I don't think Bane can still be considered mentally stable if she loses Kisu.
