Well, I'm generally against other species on wolf roleplays, but I was recently looking through some videos, and found one of a wolverine.

I was wondering if through a plot of some sort, I could have a character that is a wolverine?

My idea was that a wounded pregnant female could happen upon the lands, and give birth, having a litter of all stillborns except one male kit surviving. The kit would then be looked after by one of the packs, perhaps?

Totally unplausible in the wild, yes, but I was wondering if you'd allow something of that sort? Believe me, I understand if you don't, in case it begins a fad of wanting different species of animals.
