Name: Arashi Pack

Plot Big or Small: Kind of small. Not a big deal for now.

Plot Idea: Faia, young as he is, is a bit full of himself. He's got it in his head that he's going to start a pack! He's currently going to be gathering up loners and rogues, and basically establishing a mini-pack in loner lands! Although he is young, he is oddly determined. At the age of 2, he has already killed, and wants more power. MUCH more power. But for now, he doesn't want to take it TOO far. The Arashi pack could go well, or it could fall apart..(probably due to the fact that no one will respect his age).. without all those close family bonds tying them together, and that strong feeling of unity and protection of each other, its a last resort for lonely wolves wanting safety and comfort. Not that this lot of "Storm Bringers" as they are thought of, is really much trouble when they are small. But sometimes, just wandering the loner lands looking for wolves to join means that trouble is on its way. And young, strong, full-of-himself Faia is at its head! Along with his new found Betan, Kaden of course.

Wolves Needed: Faia is the only one we NEED. Other than that, anyone who wants to join up can join up! He wont be alerting the alphas of the groups presence for now...not even having anything to do with them yet! For a loooong time probably. That wouldn't be smart now, would it? <_<

Anything Else Needed: Just permission to roam the loner lands and cause havoc! :ph43r:

Eh, civilian trodding on Admin and Mod turf is probably a bad idea, but everyone knows Gill likes to add his two cents, regardless of him being wanted or not. ;)

If I may interject though, right now is probably not the best time to start a mini-pack - trouble causers or not. Larion is reeking his havoc on the Din'dea; Amarth are plotting (is it with, or against) Larion; the Skah have to deal with two new litters, Fal's unexpected absence, and the Skah's lack of activity...

Now, I love mini-pack plotting, but I just think the site has more than enough to handle between Larion, the Din'dea, and the Amarth. Maybe it should be a plot dealing specifically with the Isa'fea? And Faia is very young. When you said young and ambitious, I figured four or five. Two years old isn't even adolesence yet. :ph43r:

I don't think the plot should be tossed or trashed but maybe it should be modified to fit something less grand? I like the idea of the mini-pack uniting and living in the Loner lands, or whatever, but I'm not kene on them stealing and causing greif just yet/ I'm just considering that this wont necessarily help with attendance or activity. I'll say frankly that it would stress me/Fal if I knew that not only was my pack recovering from a traumatic war, but that we have new life in the ranks and would have to deal with the rogue pack, AND Larion - because we all know they're not done yet XD. So I'm probably biased.

Nothing against the plot, and I'm not in any way supporting the downfall of your great idea Zu, I'm just merely tossing in that maybe this isn't the best time?

okay, ill edit it to steer away from the packs. for now, there will be nothing to do with them. and he is REALLY young. and crazy. but plenty of wild wolves are off on their own at 2, arent they? because technically, they're fairly grown up by then.

I think a mini-group in the loner lands is an awesome idea.

Here is the Niccy-insight... I'm not sure what the other Admin's think but if this needs to be discussed in the Admin thread later okie! But here is what I think...

He can have his mini-pack-thing. HOWEVER, they remain loners. There will be no color modification, no official pack greeting or information or specific territory. Your range is the loner lands and the loner lands only. Your pack cannot be very big, you are a group of loners after all.

I think this is a GREAT way to introduce all those random loners onto the site. Your 'pack' (I'm gunna call it a group), can be the activity in the loner lands. We all know that many people start out posting a topic in the loner lands with no reply at all. Your group can be it! HOWEVER, you have no true territory. You cannot claim territory as your own. If you want to be possessive over a spot of land go right ahead! In fact, I encourage it!!

Here is another fact to consider, Larion and Agrats. Let's just say I know for sure Agrats loves having fun with loners when she can. They are target practice. If she even gets the hint that there is another group that thinks of themselves better than her, she will go after them. (And considering Faia just insulted her, she will be all up in his face for a challenge MUAHAHAH!) I don't know about Larion, but I'm sure this extra competition for gaining all lands wont make him happy either.

Point blank, keep your group in the loner lands. If you ever want to join an actual pack choose one of the four (well five at the moment). Here is another deal. Have your group, but unless challenged by another pack, don't got near them at this time. If you ever want to have a quarrel with one of the packs come up with another plot.... later. Loop hole: If a pack (Probably Larion's or the Amarth) challenge your pack, it's only fair you get to challenge back should your group still be standing, though it might not be the smartest thing o_O.

Lastly, you should note that hunting is very hard in the loner lands, breeding and having even one pup survive is rare, shelter is rough to find, and lastly, there are a lot of predators around. Keep that in mind and you could boost the activity of this site as a whole!

I've basically had the same general opinion as you, Niccy. No official pack "group" or territory, let them hang together and work together and give the neutral territory a good workout. I also agree heartily with what you've said about it being a good opportunity for new players to get an active topic going from the first.

Larion wouldn't be too happy with being challenged, but he probably wouldn't take Faia seriously unless he gathers some real force. Larion knows he's got enough to be worried about with the other "official" packs and provoking him further wouldn't be healthy.

So yeah. You have fun. :) I might just whip somebody up to come along for the ride.

I'll go along with the other Admin/mody peoples...no pack, but a loner group (especially one that could be drawn into other confrontations) doesn't sound like a bad idea. I just wanted to check with the other Admins on their opinions on the matter *too many memories of bad planning on SotW* >.<

I am SO glad that *most* (or at least some) of you guys think its a great idea! This is gonna be fun if it gets approved! So until it is, I wont gather up any other people and tell them about it. Its just a plan for now. Kaden can stick around, and hopefully it WILL be approved!

Yea, staying in the loner lands is perfectly okay by me. It all sounds good! You guys rock! Just tell me if its approved, when everyone gets on and agrees! And some activity in loner lands WOULD be a good idea. Even though its tough, theres more of a chance to thrive with alot of wolves working together. And Faia and his group could be the first to meet new loners once this big plot is over and he can ditch the others! <3

Faia...considering most of the Admins have given it a nod of approval, I do believe it is approved. :P

Actually. Due to the fact that they aren't rel;ated and are seeking refuge, their sense of unity and protection should, logically, grow very strong, very quickly, consdering that the wolves of SoTW are more like humans than wolves ^__^;;...
