I was writing something the other day in which I represented a few of my characters as humans. For Silven and Duvessa, they had uniforms as part of the Amarth pack. So then I got the idea to make military-style rank badges for all the ranks/jobs in the SotW packs. :P It was fun. Here is the result:

A "field" color is the color that would replace the dark grey on the patch, as exemplified on the Skah/Amarth only ranks. (The white on Alphas and Betas is always white. They don't show the pack color, they're important enough to not need it.) I even put the Kargroth in there to be thorough.
I might use this in siggies or avatars sometime.
Some of them share symbols (like messengers and diplomats do) to show that the jobs are somehow inter-related. Gold and black are the "normal" ring colors and silver is only added when there are more than two tiers of a sort of job type.
This isn't comprehensive, I couldn't think of what to put for some jobs. (This was quite a brain exercise, not to use human symbols!) Any questions about 'em you can ask me.
Symbols:
Upper ranks: A wolf howling, these are the important wolves in the pack and most likely to call meetings I suppose...
Patroller/Defender/Blood Guard/Berserker: A wolf facing forward for no real reason. (Jobs grouped because they, on different levels, involve defense of / fighting for the pack.)
Raiders: A yellow eye. Raiders are spies, they sneak in and get a peek at what's going on.
Hunters: A fang. Hunters do use their teeth, after all. ;)
Messenger/Diplomat: A pawprint for travelling, as messengers and diplomats might do to talk to another pack. (jobs grouped due to speaking with other packs)
Nurse/Serve/Healer: A flower, for healers must know their herbs.
Pup/Maiden: A paw, because puphood is the first step in life. (Maiden grouped with pup because maidens look after them.)
Subordinate: No symbol, as this wolf doesn't have any particular significance.
Omega: Black field with the pack color as the ring. This wolf has somehow brought shame upon the pack or themself, so the pack color is pushed to the fringe.
