Name: Akina (meaning: A Spring Flower)
Gender: Female
Age: 1 year
Appearance: Akina appears younger than she truly is. Her silky silver fur shines and sparkles in the moonlight, and from her elegantly carved features peer large orbs of miraculous ocean blue, behind which waves of deepest saphire seem to stir. Her delicate pointed ears twist at the slightest sound, and a small black nose twitches as she scents something. A thin, delicate body curving gently down from her graceful shoulders, lean muscles making her quick and agile. A long feathered tail swishes gently as she walks, a wide light-footed lope. Petite and gentle on the eyes, small footed and beautiful, Akina holds her head high, but not too high, because she reconizes her place. Although not a flaw adorns her complexion, she never sees herself as beautiful. She sees herself as nothing but a shadow of what she hides underneath the beauty. A deep poop of emotion and turmoil lies behind her blue eyes.
Personality: Akina is a naturally kind and compassionate creature. She shares a love for everything around her. In her eyes, the green fronds of plants, towering trees with branches blowing in a light breeze, even the smallest animal crawling among the roots of these much larger things, are all apart of one giant creature. Despite the wishes of her long departed mother, Akina has never felt drawn to any pack. She is quite happy to remain a loner. Although she is immensely kind, Akina is by no means a pushover. She is cunning and wise in battle, and although she makes mistakes, they are not often and are very small. Her weaknesses? She is easily overpowered, and very snappy. If she gets to know someone and they get on her nerves, she is likely to lash out. Although usually unnecessary, Akina can often get into small fights for no reason. Ironically, she has never been injured enough to leave even a single mark, as her battles are usually small tussles. Akina is also daft when it comes to socializing. Shy with other wolves, Akina would rather hide behund her much larger brother (who she hasnt seen for a month at this time), than talk herself.
History: So far in her single year of life, Akina's past has not been marred by anything serious. The young wolfess was born to a mother who wished her pups to grow up in a pack, Surrounded by other wolves. Their mother raised them in the ways of the hunter and the spy, and so she grew sly and cunning as well as skillfull. Guarded fiercely and secluded, her only real friend was her brother. Her mother left them alone soon after he declared himself strong enough, and the two siblings parted ways soon after the departure of their mother. After being left alone, Akina decided to stay at the den. Prefering to live her life as a loner rather than join a pack, she stayed in the neutral lands, calling her small burrow home. Never meeting other wolves makes her tense and shy, and she tries to stay away from other loners. But she realized about a week ago that she could never truly live alone as a loner. And so she ventured away from her burrow in hopes to find other wolves. Young and unexperienced, Akina tends to prey on smaller mammals, and has grown quite thin this summer. Still strong enough to travel, after a few run ins with her brother, and a lot of running from danger, she is now prepared to actually take her life into her own paws and stop relying on pure fate to decide her future. Although her brother scolded her for her optimism many times, she still stands tall. Proud and unaffected by the thoughts of others, Akina runs fast to face her future. She is determined to make something grande of her life, and to make herself seen. Akina hopes to be a voice that will be heard among all the different territories of the packs. Strong willed as well as beautiful, her mother named her well: A Spring Flower. Young and ready to bloom into something magnificent. So despite her many weaknesses, Akina tries to remain strong and optomistic, even through the harshest summers or the coldest winters. She does not want to have to rely on anyone for protection any longer. And so her story begins!
