Title: Jei

Jei - August 14, 2007 08:19 AM (GMT)
Name: Jei

Age: 1 year

Gender: Male

Appearance: Jei is an albino. His eyes are purple-ish pink. He has long legs, great for running long distances. He is well muscled. His nose is actually, if you look very close, pink, but at first glance looks white like the rest of his pelt. Jei is slender, but by no means skinny. His pads are a rather feminine rose color. To add to his feminine look, Jei's voice is rather soft and dainty. For some reason, Jei's tail is very long, about three inches longer than it should be. This would look weird on most wolves, but with Jei's tallness, it just serves to make him look a more normal height.

Personality: Jei is a very nice wolf. He will be kind to whoever is kind to him. When a wolf is being mean to another wolf, Jei can't help but step in and do something. He likes snowy places, for obvious reasons. The way to anger Jei is to call him feminine. He got that enough in his old pack. When he is angry Jei likes to just run. He loves to rush through forest area, dodging trees at as fast a pace as he can go. He is a big fan of being in the sidelines. He dislikes being the center of attention. Jei is an efficient hunter, but a mediocre fighter. When Jei is happy, though, it is contagious. If he is sad, he will find a small place, curl up, and mope. He'll come back, usually shortly after. The longest he has stayed unhappy was about three days. It takes a lot to get him sad. Angry is easy, but saddening him takes a wolf that knows him well.

History: In his birth-pack, Jei was teased constantly about his appearance. The only other albino in the history of Jei's pack was his great-great-grandmother, who was long dead by the time he was born. He was getting sick of being patronized, so he did what he was best at. He ran. He kept running and running. He only stopped to rest when he couldn't go any further. He didn't know where he was but away. Away from the taunts, away from his family, away from it all. He had only been seven months then. He still, to this day, asks himself if he should have left. If he had stayed, sure, he would be unhappy at times, but then, he would have also been safe. But what was done was done. He had gone so far, he doubted he would have even been able to find his way back if he wanted. If he thought about it long enough, he would decide that he would have left again, too. At least now he has a chance of meeting somebody that will like him. Optamism would keep him going, even if nothing else is willing to.
When he was about nine months, Jei tried to make a home again. This time it was with a pack that welcomed him. They were nice to him, he liked it there. Then, not long after he arrived, a loud monster came; it made noise and flew in the air like a huge shiny bird. It landed nearby and out of it came creatures that walked on their hind legs. In their front paws, they held boomsticks. They made bangs and wherever they were pointed the animal fell, bleeding and dying. He fled. Everybody did. Precious few lived through the ordeal and those that did weren't willing to stay and find out if the creatures were coming back. After that, Jei took to wandering. He lived off of small prey and whatever else he could find. He wants to find a home; he doesn't want to be alone. And, hey, third time's the charm, right?
