Name: Cypress
Age: 3 years
Gender: Male
Appearance: An odd array of earth tones make up Cypress's pelt. His face, muzzle and the majority of his body is a dark tan, with lighter beige color covering his head, ears, belly, and the underside of his tail. A dark brown stripe runs down his back to the base of his tail. Cypress's body, while somewhat muscular, is no bigger than that of an average wolf his age. His voice can vary depending on his mood, although it usually remains at an even, cool level, while also tending to sound harsh without him meaning so. His paws are somewhat large, and a few of his teeth are slightly chipped in certain places. His eyes are the deep golden color that is found in many wolves.
Personality: For the most part, Cypress is a calm and introverted male, although he isn't afraid to show his anger if the situation calls for it. He's relatively quiet, and usually only speaks if there is something to speak about. When he talks, he is almost always straight to the point, never rambling or saying unneccesary things. Though a true fighter at heart, he loathes fighting, and will almost always back away from a challenge unless someone is truly in danger. From afar he can look rather intimidating, although he likely wouldn't hurt a fly. Despite seeming unapproachable at times, Cypress has a good heart and enjoys the company of others.
History: Cypress's history is a relatively uneventful one. His father, Surge, the Beta wolf of the pack, was given the right to breed by the Alpha. Surge's mate was completely beige in color, while he himself was almost completely dark brown in color, which explains how Cypress got his strange-colored coat. Surge was never the caring type, however. He was lazy, and would often ignore his children and put off tasks he was assigned to do. The Alphas were soon angered by this, and his position in the pack was soon given to another, and he was stripped down to a low-ranking subordinate. Outraged, Surge soon grew angry at everyone, including his pups and his mate. He would apologize often, but it never seemed to make any difference. He was eventually banished from the pack after attempting to murder the Beta who 'stole' his pack position.
When Cypress reached maturity, he wandered off on his own after awhile in search of a new home, claiming he was bored of his pack life and wanted adventure. He never payed much mind to his past, although he often wonders where his father is now. Cypress can usually be found sitting atop high places, watching what happens around him with interest. He is (or at least tries to be) friendly to all animals, including prey, and only kills if it is necessary for survival. Perhaps this is because he doesn't want to repeat his father's sin.
