Title: Faolan

Faolan - July 23, 2007 08:23 AM (GMT)
Name: Faolan

Age: 5 years

Gender: Male

Appearance: Faolan is a tannish wolf with white on his lower jaw and legs. He also has a black stripe down the middle of his back. His eyes are a sound orange color. His pelt is very thick; he is much the highland wolf. He is of average size, not very large, but he is very agile. His voice is very heavy with an Irish accent. Faolan's tail is very fluffy and is always kept free of twigs and dirt. Faolan is usually found wearing a happy-go-lucky expression. The only time that he isn't looking happy is when he is in very warm weather. Generally he is casual, but if it is in his best interest, Faolan can look very submissive. He has a collar with a plaid print on it.

Personality: Faolan is a very cheery wolf. He generally has a lot of patience with other wolves. The only thing that really annoys Faolan is warm weather, and when it is too hot for too long, he can become rather short tempered. He is partial to highlands, but likes being in caves, too. When he is furious, his accent becomes very heavy. If you know him well, you will know not to go near him when it does. Faolan hates the collar around his neck, and has tried many times to get it off. Faolan is always up for a good hunt and is very good at it. In fighting, Faolan is rather lacking. Faolan isn't very used to large groups of wolves, and might be a little nervous when confronted by a large group of wolves.

History: Faolan very well could be the last Irish wolf. His mother was killed by shepherds for killing a sheep and his brother was shot. He still has no idea where his sister is. So, as far as he could see it, he probably was one of the last Irish wolves. While in Ireland, he hadn't seen any other wolves. One day, he was in his forest and he was shot. It wasn't like the shot that claimed his brother's life, though. No, this one just made him very tired, it made his movements slow until he couldn't move and fell. It was later that he learned it was a tranquilizer. When he came to, he was in an enclosed, dark place that rocked in a sickening motion, back and forth and occasionally, even up and down. He didn't know it, but he had been on a boat, and that boat took him to a zoo. He was advertised as the last Irish wolf, and was made to wear a collar that chafed his throat.

Faolan lived in that zoo for three long years until a fire ended in his freedom. He lived as a loner for another few months, regaining his hunting skills. Then he took to wandering, looking for a home. He did come close to finding a home once, but he was run out for bringing humans to them. Only then did he find that he had a chip in his left flank. So now he is trying to get help. Trying to find somebody willing to free him of the humans. Even through all of the hardships he has gone through, he has amazingly kept his happy personality.

Ooc: It's me Terry. I know that the collar is probably against some rule to preserve the realsticness, but as soon as he runs into a pack wolf, he will ask them to remove it. It won't be there long. It will only really show that he had once been in human captivity.

*nods* at first I'd say the collar is a no-no, but since you're emphasizing your wolf was in human capitivity, I think it fits. ^.^
