ooc: Alright, the Silverfangravenwingswifttooth was me (Emily xD) having a laugh. Hopefully it amused as opposed to annoyed. Her real name shall be Enwin.

Name: Enwin

Age: 2 years

Gender: Female

Appearance: Enwin’s pelt is a silvery grey in hue, with richer, darker hues blossoming over her shoulders and sides and a sunburst of white across her maw. Her body is slight, but the thick ruff of fur wreathing her neck and shoulders provides her at least with some outward appearance of strength, save for lean legs and a delicate muzzle. Her appearance is so far unblemished by any hint of visible scars, which benefits her dainty appearance but does give her the impression of being somewhat naïve.

The female’s eyes are a pale and fragile amber, lined with the black lids typical of the wolf, which makes them seem all the more stark and inexperienced. Somehow she still has the air that she hasn’t quite been subjected to the world in quite as much detail and ferocity as she should have been, and she looks upon it with a curious and trusting gaze.

Enwin’s gait is swift and soundless; she delights in running along in great silence, practising avoiding every obstacle with each footfall, although she is prone to not paying attention to a great deal else if she is concentrating on such – truly innocent. Her voice and howl are free, light and uninhibited; a quality that she has not yet learned might put her in danger.

Personality: It is quite patently clear from her appearance alone that Enwin is rather untried and unproven in the world. She seems sheltered. Her conversation is intelligent and wordy, but she doesn’t know when to stop. She can behave submissively in an appropriate manner at the right time, and understands the consequences of angering another, but can’t quite see that there are some out there who might take advantage of her. She is far too quick to give credence to a smile and a warm voice, and far too sudden in leaping to decisions that she may regret later.

Of course, she’d understand aggressiveness when she saw it, and actively avoids fights if she can, fearing what she believes is a lack of ability. In reality, her swiftness would lend her a paw if she ever found herself in a sticky situation, but her unaccustomed frame and lack of confidence would quickly put her on the floor – and yet, she has never been in such circumstances. Luck has been on her side so far, and she seems to already live in a vague, dream world in which everything goes to plan. She still believes that she holds some sort of renown or suchlike, simply because of the nature of the pack she has left. Someday, she’ll have to drift back to reality, or be snapped out of it in a far more unpleasant way, or she’s unlikely to live to see her third year.

History: Indeed, Enwin has led a short and sheltered life. She was born to a pack strangely small, insular and elite for such a large territory, but fortune had favoured the group of wolves and they were unchallenged by any others – thus, they managed to hold a huge amount of land with no attacks, as no other packs lived near them. They believed that this was because they were so strong; that nobody dared to provoke them, but in reality, their area would have been snapped up in minutes, had there been a stronger gang nearby. The wolves lacked new blood, except for the odd, wandering stray, and became introverted and almost deluded by their apparent power. They were reasonable hunters, but faced with an onslaught, they would likely get more than they bargained for. If Enwin were less innocent, she might worry about the future of her pack as she leaves them, but as far as she knows, they will always be safe.

But why did she leave them? There does come a point when a scarcity of new blood leads to problems in a pack. Imagine if all your potential mates are your brothers? Whilst the lands were plentiful in terms of food and space, they weren’t in terms of the growth of the pack. Some members chose to leave and bring back recruited wolves, with the promise of acceptance into their beautiful terrain. Enwin was one of these messengers, but having escaped the smothering clutches of her family and found her way into the even bigger and wider world, she decided to stay out there a little longer than was strictly necessary. She came across an area that was full of the scent of unknown wolves. She would still look for a mate – that was her somewhat innocent intention, after all – but she looked forward to exploring too.
