Okay, this will have all of the stuff needed for the application, but it will be out of order. This is not to mess with you guys. It just makes more sense out of order. Oh, by the way, this is Beowulf. I suppose you may call me Terry, since, if this is accepted, I will have two wolves and...Well, yeah, you can all just call me Terry.
Name: Cuan
Age: 7 months
Gender: Male
History:
He doesn't remember it, but Cuan was born in the wild. His mother, Amoux, was forcebred by a huge midnight wolf and was impregnated. At about the same time Cuan and his littermates were to be born, humans were invading their forest. Amoux was able to avoid the humans well enough, and she gave birth to four healthy pups. When they were five days old, Cuan's mother was run over and mutilated by a tree cutter. Two days later, a man found the dead bodies of two pups and two more staring down the river Styx. By the time he got them to his home, only one was still alive, and only just. The man fed the pup dam's milk until it was weaned. When the pup was healthy, it was presented to the man's daughter as a birthday present. She looked at the little scrap of fur and called it Cuan.
Cuan was treated as a dog. A very well fed and pampered dog, but a dog nonetheless. He was fed high quality dog food, given a dog bed that was hand crafted, and taken to the groomer's every other day. The little scrap of fur that the man found quickly grew. Cuan had indeed inherited his father's size. His large paws told that he still had more growing to do. His paws, wich had looked so comically large on him as a small pup, had begun to look a little more in place. His mistress, still young and lacking enough responsibility to be the sole owner of a goldfish, was becoming bored with her new pet and running out of space to keep it. She spoke with her father and he said the only option was the pound if she didn't want to keep it. She had seen enough films to know that if a pet wasn't desired at the pound, it was put to sleep, and she didn't want that. She didn't want Cuan, but she didn't want him dead, either. She decided she would put him 'back into the wild' where he could live the rest of his life. She put no thought as to how he was to adapt to life in the wild; she just took him to a forest and left him. She told him to stay and he did, until he noticed that she didn't seem to be coming back. He was alone.
Appearance:
Cuan is a very large wolf, and still growing. His pelt is a very dark shade of black, with a blueish tint. He has absolutely no sense of stealth, he didn't need it while he was a pet and didn't bother to try and learn it. He is slightly plump, and has no muscles to speak of. Even at first glance, one can tell he doesn't exactly fit in his surroundings. Cuan's paws are huge, showing much promise that he will get even bigger. His brown eyes are very good at showing his feelings, whether it is good or bad regardless. At the moment he is beginning to thin from hunger, beginning to starve. His fur is matted; not faded yet, but in the process. He is used to being fed, lacking any responsibility whatsoever. His gait is relaxed, never rushed or stealthy. He is beginning to starve, not being able to hunt for food. If he is not helped soon, he might not even see the end of his first spring.
Personality:
Cuan is pampered. He hasn't had to catch a single meal in his life. He barley knows what prey smells like. He is completely used to being taken care of. He plans on doing as little as possible and waiting for his owner. He misses he, and he still can't understand why she put him here. He wants her to come take him back. In the back of his mind, Cuan is beginning to get that she isn't, but he is refusing the thought. He is hurt easily, both emotionally and physically. Because of his sheltered life, he knows no hardship and has no knowledge of badness. He doesn't get that there are bad wolves out there and automatically assumes that whatever he is told is true.
I like it but you need to change one small thing. The black pelt can't have a purple tint, it can have a blue on if you'd prefer that ^.^ But that's the only thing ^.^
