I remembered this old sketch I did of Kharlvahn in one of my disorganized image folders (it's a labyrinth in my "My Pictures" folder) yesterday when I was bored. I decided to paint it. It's going pretty well, can't wait to see how it comes out! I might use it in a Zine siggy at some point.

(In the background, I used the "apply lighting" effect on the canvas. It's a trick I learned from the Painter IX handbook, one of the tutorials was written by some guy who does character design work for Nintendo. It helps me judge colors better than against flat white, because EVERYTHING looks too dark on flat white.)
