Having trouble posting? Does it feel like every time you post you're pouring your heart and soul into it? Are you putting off posting because you have to gather large amounts of inspiration and make the post perfect?

If so, I have some suggestions for you. Stop worrying about it!!! Just read the other people's posts and start writing. Let the words come and don't try to force it.

We've decided that there will no longer be a minimum sentance length.

The rest of the staff and I agree that there is way to much pressure on post quality and it's killing SotW's activity. So don't worry about length or post quality...just RP!!! Make it a goal for yourself to post AT LEAST once a day...if not several times. Does that sound impossible? It shouldn't. So long as you're not spending 30 minutes trying to create a masterpiece each time you post, you should be fine.

So just a word to everyone from SotW staff...relax and remember to have fun. Your posts don't have to be perfect. We're not writing books here. Everyone here is a great writer so you don't have to try and prove it every single time you post :P

If you're stuck in a topic for more than 3 days don't hesitate to request Liquid Time. Just remember to state what topics you're in and where those topics are located.

Let's give SotW a HUGE activity boost!

*Raises hand to ask a question*

Okay, but what about those of us who are chronic perfectionists and have a hard time not worrying about making a really great post? lol

TRY your best not to worry about it. The best stuff is often written when the mind is realxed. If you sit down with all the pressure on your mind you can't hope to concentrate on what you want to acually write...and it turns out worse than if you would have just 'winged it'. Or so my AP Composition teacher says.
