Name: Coti
Age: 2
Gender: Fae
Pack: Loner
Position: Self-sufficient, hunter, scouter, all of em! (i.e. Loner)
Appearance: She has been told quite a few times that she was a ‘pretty little fae’ quite often though such attention usually irritates her more then seduces her. Her pelt is a perfect example of the lighter phase of a gray wolf coat, the darkest color being a light silvery gray color. This color circles around each eye while the rest of her face and the top of her head hold a light sprinkling of it. It grows slightly darker along her back, and reaches down to the tip of her tail. Then the cream colors come to play here, covering her cheeks and the backs of her auds, as well as her sides and the outsides of her legs. The sides of her tail are also covered in the pale cream color. Her third main color is a pure white, which is found covering her lower jaw, her underbelly, and the insides of her legs as well as each paw. There is also a little bit of black to be found on her, including a thick outline on each eye and an ebony nose. Her eyes are a green yellow color, and the black outline only serves to bring them out even more so. Her eyes are quite emotional, and she has been told that ‘a brute could get lost in them’.
In posture she holds herself high, but not haughtily so. Her shoulders are generally squared, to give off an air of confidence that does not exactly exist. Her tail is kept in a neutral position, though that has plenty of opportunity to change, if she ever decided to leave the position of a loner. Her gait is perfectly even, and she had the ability to make it look like she is ‘gliding’ rather than walking or running, and usually retain cat-like balance even on the roughest terrain. She calculates every movement before committing to it, and usually watches very carefully what comes out of her mouth, especially when around brutes. Her mouth rarely ever opens however, for she rarely ever speaks. In conclusion she is a beautiful yet silent fae, who keeps a guarded posture and a mistrusting gaze.
Personality: In truth she is a fun loving fae that finds amusement in most anything, though whether or not she allows you to know it depends on the situation. A small smile is usually a good give away of the mischievous things she is thinking. She is quite judgmental, though keeps her opinions to herself most of the time, and has a bad habit of almost immediately deciding whether or not the wolf in question is one she wants to keep for company. It’s usually a negative ruling, which has led her to the solitary life she leads today. It’s not that she’s mean or rude to others, she doesn’t have any urge to destroy or kill anyone, she’s simply antisocial. She doesn’t get along with most others, and so if she gets along with you one could take it as a compliment.
Her general nature when around others is a quite yet confident, she knows how to test her limits, yet knows exactly when to back off to avoid annoying the other and to avoid fights. She also acts in a cool innocent way, that makes it seem as though she doesn’t know shes pretty. She acts as though she can’t get the attention from others, though she rarely wants it, and her way of acting uninterested usually gains the interest of others. She’s an enigma, something others usually want to find more about, though she rarely ever lets anyone in far enough to find out much about her. Her name is usually given out freely, for the name in itself is a bit of a mystery. Most usually expect a brute when thinking of ‘Coti’, though, once they meet her, they of course know she is a fae.
History: She was sadly the only pup from her litter to live, which started her solitary life. Two of her siblings died at birth, and due to the weakness of the pack at the time and the prolonged winter, three more perished before they were two months old. Being the only pup ment lonely days wandering the forest, playing with anything that ranged from leaves, bugs, and even mice, if she could find them. Her parents tried to raise her as they would a litter, but her being the only one was hard on them, and despite themselves they tended to ignore her more than anything. They of course taught her to hunt and how to exist properly in a pack, as well as everything else a wolf learns as they grow up, but they never really played with her, or simply spent time with her. Despite how hard they tried they could never quite get into the role of a sibling.
She spent a year and a half of her life like this. Wandering the land of her father for days on end, and always coming when a calling howl rang over the land. She participated well enough, but the main thing she developed in her childhood was a fondness for solitude, something she hasn’t been able to get rid of yet. This chapter of her life came to a close when a new litter of pups was born, all of them surviving. Coti liked her siblings, and played with them at times, but knew exactly what they meant for her. Eventually she wandered off again, to spend some time alone and wait for her calling howl. The howl never came, and though she was never chased from the lands she knew she wasn’t welcomed there anymore.
She doesn’t remember that day clearly anymore, and has pretty much gotten over the ‘loss’ of her pack. It was nothing dramatic, but it still sorta hurt, to know that her family wasn’t interested in her anymore. But as the days and weeks passed by she turned two, and has continued on with her life without any significant occurrences. She has encountered a loner here and there, even a pack boarder every now and then. She has safely and successfully made it here though, and she figures she’ll continue on that way.
