• Name: Perdu
• Age: 4 summers
• Gender: Female
• Pack: Previously Din’Dea. currently, none.
• Rank: None
• Appearance: Perdu’s outer coat is jet black giving her the less than flattering appearance of a dirty black hole. Her coat looks "moth eaten" because her hair never grew back over the pearly white scars she received. Through these patches it is easy to see her much lighter undercoat peeking out. Her scars are still sensitive to light, and she prefers to stay in the dark. This also comforts her, because she is not a fan of unwanted attention, and staying in the dark conceals her. She is undersized, but much stronger than her very thin build reveals, she can squeeze into the tiniest places imaginable. Undernourished from never being properly taught how to hunt, Perdu will try to eat almost anything she can get her teeth on, and being as fast as she is, she can get her teeth on a lot of little woodland creatures, but never any large game, due to the fact she is currently a lone wolf. Her face is long and narrow, and she takes advantage of it, shoving her nose into countless rabbit holes trying to answers the constant growls from her stomach. She often bristles up her fur to make her look more like a normal wolf, even though she makes up for what she lacks in size, with long skinny legs, giving her a taller appearance when seen from a distance. When she was beaten as a pup, her left fore leg was shattered and never healed normally, due to this, her gait is lopsided, for it healed a tad shorter than her other legs. Perdu tries to keep her shortcomings from being noticed by constantly baring her beautiful white teeth. Her most interesting feature would have to be her eyes. With one bright blue, and one bright green, Perdu is easy to tell apart from other wolves.
• Personality: After years of abuse, Perdu doesn't trust anyone or, anything until she gets to know them, and even after that, although she is fiercely loyal, she will always be at the edge of the group, watching for danger, and if someone threatens her, a chance to escape. After surviving all that she has, she isn't about to die now. She is always on guard, and will bare her teeth in an instant, but is very slow to fight. Her emotions are either white, or black, there is no gray. She is either very assertive, or very submissive, and she doesn't always think things through before she acts, which got her into trouble with a cat. Perdu shows her affection easily, if she likes someone, she makes sure they know. She doesn't understand how a pack works, for she has never been part of one, but is highly intelligent, incredible at problem solving, and would learn quickly if someone would just give her a chance. All she truly wants is to belong, and feel at home, for she has never felt that way since she was snuggled up next to her mother as a young pup. She wants to take orders, if it means she has a warm den to be in, but most of all she wishes to please her leader, whoever it may turn out to be. Perdu, however, is horribly afraid of rejection. She has no wish to harm another wolf to feed herself, and would rather remain a loner, than commit that dreadful sin. Although she has nothing wrong with killing anything else.
• History: Born a pup to be sold on the black market, Perdu never felt grass under her feet, or wind that wasn't filled with pollutants on her face. Her brothers and sisters were sold to ignorant rich folks, thinking a wolf would be a cute pet. Perdu’s fate was no better, she was sold to a man who, to manys disgust, had an estimated five chins, but it was terrible hard to tell. He was so large that his equally large wife had to make all of his clothing, and he still split the seems. The worst member of the family was the daughter. Her many chins wobbled as she ran toward the cute little puppy, and as she ran away, cradling her recently bitten hand, tears gliding down her cheeks. As Perdu got older, she only go more and more aggressive toward her slime of owners, and she was eventually tied to a short chain that was staked into the ground, as far away from the house as possible. Her owners stopped feeding her, they thought it was no longer safe to get close enough to set down the food bowl. She dropped weight quickly, and began to try and catch small birds, and squirrels. But what really caused all the problems was when the owners cat walked by her. She lunged, grabbed the cat around the back of the neck, and shook it until it went limp. She ate the cats gratefully, the warmth of it spreading over her like a blanket. There was no way to escape it, with blood all over her face, the cat missing, and tuffs of hair all around her, it was obvious what happened to the cat. The fat man came out with a crowbar. Perdu bared her teeth, but the usually chicken man, did not back down. Shocked and slightly worried Perdu snarled and lunged, the crowbar met her in mid air, knocking her to the ground. He beat her till she was unconscious, then left her to die.
When she awoke she was in agony, slowly, she gained enough strength to dig her stake out, and finally leap the fence. She limped away slowly, avoiding people until finally, a french man, visiting the country, found her. He removed the chain, nursed her wounds and fed her. To weak to oppose him, she took the care gratefully, but once she was healed and strong, she left. But what she took with her, was her name. He had called her Perdu, french for lost, and she had enjoyed that name, compared to Tinker Bell.
As Perdu wandered she came to the Din’Dea lands, joined the pack, and acted as a patroller briefly. But when the Great Storm hit, she became hopelessly lost. Once the storm cleared, all the scent markings were gone, and she could not find her way back to the Din’Dea lands. She wandered until finally she came to this familiar lands, with hopes of rejoining.
Accepted! Welcome back ^.^
