Title: Contest
Description: From my town

In the city I live in, the paper had a competition for different age groups for a Thanksgiving competition. The winner gets a $50 gift certificate to a book store. We could make a picture, animation, or media file that showed something about Thanksgiving, but had to feature a tom turkey. I decided to try my luck and whip up a little something something, so here is what I came up with.

Do you get it? :D They announce winners by noon on Monday, so I'll find out if I got anything by Monday or Tuesday!

Awww... that's cute! It reminds me of the Chick-Fil-A cow mascots that are always saying something like "Eat Mor Chikin." Good luck in the contest and let us know if you win!

Oh! I just wanted to let anyone who was interested know about the contest! Someday (I believe it was last week sometime) I got an email from the editor of the paper saying that I was a finalist and they needed my name and age and adress. I was really excited.
Yesterday in the mail, I got a little envelope from The Shreveport Times (the paper that held the contest) and I was like "Oooooh!" And hurriedly whipped it open...well the best I can cleanly whip open an envelope, especially with tape on it...I'm the worst at opening envelopes neatly as weird as that may sound, but this is all beside the point!
I opened it up and I won! I got a $50 to Barnes & Nobel! I am ish SOOOO excited!
~yay~
Just letting ya'll know about it and whatnot, thought maybe a few peeps would be interested.

lol, I like ham and turkey but it just wouldn't feel like Thanksgiving if there wasn't a stuffed turkey sitting on our dinenr table B)

Yeah, when you think Thanksgiving, you think...TURKEY! Gotta have it! ;)
Besides, what would be Thanksgiving without a big...juicy...yummy...tender, injected turkey. *mouth waters*
Nummy, nummy. But yuppers!
