Age: 4 years
Gender: Male
Pack: Loner
Position:
Appearance: His fur is weathered and thick. He has a light grey under belly and lower jaw, almost jet black back and bushy tail. He's got an intelligent head with two glowing emarald green almond shaped eyes. His body is slim, lithe and tall some would say lanky with long legs and big paws. He moves gracefully and swiftly with ease.
He has a distinctive white splash on his head. His ears are big almost too big with grey tips to the ends. He has many scars his biggest being one along his delicate muzzle.
He has 4 white socks. He's got a sad look about him which can change quickly to a fierce look if angered. He also has an unsually large neck ruffle almost as big as a lions mane which he loves to show off.
Personality: Indie is highly cautious of other wolves because of what has happened to him previously.
He generally keeps to himself and tries not to befriend other wolves too easily, his only friend being Dawn the lovely white she wolf whom he is very loyal to and he would do anything to protect her.
He has a rather arrogant air about him that alot of wolves take the wrong way. He does not like killing or fighting other wolves, he only kills if he must. He loves to howl to the never ending stars last at night and hear his voice be carried away by the wind.
He's never liked water, the strength of a river scares him.
Sometimes he is lonely, very lonely but whenever he feels like that then he visits Dawn.
He likes to travel alot, he cannot stay in one place for too long as he gets bored easily.
His favourite past time is to lay on sun warmed rocks. He hunts and chases his prey with delight, his favourite prey is deer.
He likes to watch the sunrise and the sunset.
History: His sire was a large unknown all black wolf who preferred the lonely life. His loving dam 'kita' was a high ranking grey wolf in a peaceful pack untill she was killed by a lone male when Indie was just a pup leaving him to fend for himself at a young age.
Distraught at what had happened he ran as fast and as far as he could to get away from the place his mother fell.
It dawned on him he was alone, he did not know if his lovely little sister 'Dae' had survived and wished he could go back but feared the lone wolf would kill him too.
One day when Indie was roughly 6 months old and just about getting by in life he came across a pack of weary looking wolves, he trotted over to greet them but was attacked and left for dead, as he lie in the blood stained snow he has learnt not to trust every wolf he sees. He thought of his mother and little Dae, he hated the wolf that killed them and swore revenge.
After lying there for a while he gathered his strength and slowly limped towards the closest cover.
There he lay for 3 days or so but hunger made him get up and find food. He found an old carcass not much meat was left but he ate what he could get and filled his belly, already feeling stronger.
He very slowly recovered his health.
Indie now a full grown impressive adult stalked across the land determined to find the monster that killed his family.
He has taught himself to hunt, kill and generally fend for himself.
Because he was alone he learnt quickly, he had to be cunning and swift.
Then by what seemed like chance he stumbled across and injured she wolf. He nursed her back to health and she told him of a lone male that had attacked her while she was sleeping and somehow she managed to fight him off.
Indie was sure it must be the same wolf.
When Dawn was strong enough to hunt for herself he left her and went on to try and track the wolf.
Indie came face to face with his enemy and a bloody battle followed, he managed to get the wolf around the neck and with one strong bite from his powerful jaws he killed it.
Injured but very much alive he made his way back the Dawn where she took care of him.
Now he has got his revenge he carries on to walk alone, he still hopes to find his sister but that hope is fading as time goes by.
I'll accept this now, but a wolf's ruff would never be the size of a lion's mane, just for reference.
