Name: Aroura
Age: 2
Gender: female
Pack: loner
Position:
Appearance: Aroura's pelt is as black as they come and around her muzzle and chest there is a slight hint of gray. Her eyes have a sort of yellowish glow about them making her that much more attractive. She is an excellent fighter but she usually doesn't start a fights. She does know how to finish them though. When she howls its like listening to beautiful music and it tends to mesmerize other wolves into replying. She is a fair hunter but not the best that there is although her scenting skills are unusually better than most wolves. She prefers to trot along rather than walk giving her body a lean muscular build. When the time comes she is a fast runner as well. She also has a smooth gliding gait that makes her seem as if she floats along rather than trot or run. Since she is a fast runner she can catch rabbits and birds with ease or other small animals that are quick. She also prefers to travel at night and sleep during the day because the night gives her better cover.
Personality: Aroura is a kind wolf yet she distrusts other male wolves and humans. She lives by her instincts and never second guesses herself. She hates to be taken by surprise and it will really get her into a fighting mood. She prefers winter over all of the other seasons because there is less activity and it is less likely for her to be attacked by bears or other wolves. She longs to start a pack of her own and have a mate but hasn't found the right mate or place to start one. She loves to sleep in secluded areas where she feels safe and she often never sleeps because of that reason. She hasn't eaten caribou or other large animal meat in months and she hates eating the mice and birds that she has been living off of for so long. She also hates to be alone but needs her space. She hates over crowding which is one of the reasons she left her old pack. She is driven by the knowledge that she might get a mate soon and have a pack of her own. She also loves to be loved and cared for but not overdoing it that will only cause a bearing of teeth or a snap of her jaws.
History: Aroura grew up in a pack know as the River Valley Pack. Her mother and father were Alpha leaders and so that made her next in line to be leader. She was only a couple of weeks old when she began to show signs of her leadership skills. She was always the one to lead the other pups into trouble and always the one to lead the retreat. Both her mother and father noticed this and knew she was meant to be the next Alpha female. She was not only bigger than the other pups but she was more intelligent as well making her a sure fit for leadership. As the weeks went by she grew bigger and more beautiful than her mother and father expected. On her first hunting trip they taught her to follow her instincts and she found the tracks and led the other hunters to the caribou they were hunting. At this her mother and father knew she would be for certain the new leader and they began allowing more wolves to join their pack in hopes of finding her a mate. One particular wolf they liked very much. His name was Bones and although he had a cruel way about himself they seemed to think he was perfect for their Aroura. She disliked him immediately and refused his feeble attempts of trying to acquire her as his mate. Her parents were distraught and warned her she should take his offer but she still refused. One night when the pack was out hunting she had decided to stay behind. Bones came to her and repeated his offer which she again refused. He then began to try to force her into being his mate by attacking her and trying to force her to mate with him. He did not expect that she would fight back but she did and she held him off until the other pack members including her parents returned and they banished Bones nearly killing him before he was banished. Aroura never seemed to forgive her parents and they began to worry about her. The pack was beginning to get to big and food was starting to get scarce in the River Valley. Winter was coming and the pack all seemed uneasy Aroura more than others. It was the day after she was born and she had just turned 2 years old. She knew there was nothing left for her in the River Valley and she knew her mate was out there somewhere. One late night she ventured out never to return. One last look at their Wintering den and the Valley she had grown to know so well. She turned to lope away and never looked back. She now is miles away from that one valley and still holding onto hope that she will find the right mate and start a pack of her own.
