Okay so,


I'm finally back from the middle of nowhere and plan to have a computer for most of the rest of the summer. Woot! I will be gone for a few days starting Thursday, but it will only be until Tuesday, and I might even be able to get on the internet while I'm gone. I thank EVERYONE for their paitence and help during this rather long leave of absence. I have no idea when Gil is going to pop up again, so until he gets back, I'll probably still need to lean on good old LM once in a while...that is if she agrees to it. :-)

Now, trying to get everything back to order:

First of all, I know there was supposed to be some rank changes before I went and left you, but apparently Gil didn't realize he was the one that was supposed to do them. *sigh* Also the PM where I'd worked all this out is somehow gone, so its back to square one.

If you are a loner wanting to join Skah or are a Skah member who would like a rank change, PLEASE reply to this post giving your character name, what rank you currently hold, what rank you would like to hold, and why you think so. I know we did something like this a month or so ago, but there has been some shifts and changes since this was last requested. I also wanted to give some of the people who didn't reply to the previous post a chance to reply.

I promise new ranks will be given out in at the most two weeks. Thanks for the understanding. *wonders if entire pack is going to make wolfie chow out of Kisu when she comes in after the big confrontations*

I posted this before, but i'll happily do it again. My Skah character, Rynn, has been a subordiante for awhile and I think it's time for a rank change. I was thinking maybe Cheif Hunter or just Hunter for now untill she proves herself more. It's all up to you.

Here's why,

Rynn has hunted for the Skah a few times, helped an injured loner who came to the Skah and decided not to join, and even gave fishing tips to a loner. That may not be a whole lot, so like i said before she could just settle for Hunter now untill she does more to prove herself. Either way, she is just really sick of being a subordianate.

Hmm, you can lean on me, but I believe I'll be gone from Friday through Sunday night. Planning to go to the boat with my dad and have some special Father's Day plans for him. We have electricity at the marina, even cable TV, but no internet.

The only thing I can think of was Gideon was slated to become a defender, but Gilly and I had kicked around the idea to have Gideon and Fal do a little play tussel so Fal can determine how well he can defend the Skah. But that's the only rank change I can think of that was to happen to any of my charries. Perhaps nurse/serve for Aiko (she'd be nurse since she's female), once she learns a few things about the herbal stuff. Other than that I can't really think of anything.

Keno: Yes, remember that yelp we heard just before you left? The one that had Fal and I racing to Firith Woods? That was Akando being slaughtered by an Amarth pup about his own age.

Aherm. Well, poor Nokomis has been a Subordinate since she joined the Skah...approximately...

My poor baby has had thoughts of dying and leaving because she thinks she drags them down, but I was thinking like at least Maiden or something (even though there are no pups as of now) because she sorta helped Snowcone out a bit.

And I was thinking something else for rough-tough-and-tumble, too rash Durga, but I dunno what. Maybe Keno can suggest something for her to Fal and/or Kisu.

Okay, I've gotten a few replies, looked at the sadly lacking Skah roster list, and come up with a few decisions:

Nokomis: *smacks self* you should have come over and given me a sound beating...you're charrie has been invaluable to the Skah for a long time...a higher rank is MUCH needed! How does the position of diplomat sound? I was quite impressed with the way she handled the situation with her Amarth and Skah daughters...certainly qualities needed in a good diplomat!

Rynn: You have been increadibly paitent with me for this...it seems every time I see Rynn post she's ready to help out, especially on a hunt! I would like to present our new Chief huntress!

Akio: She's been around a while, and though she's just been been promoted from pup status, I think putting her in a position with a little more authority might help her grow. At LM's suggestion, Akio will be Skah's first nurse, though we'll have to work on someone for her training. .

Durga: Well, after a rather *interesting* display at the Skah/Amarth confrontation, Durga has certainlyl shown she has courage. She will be promoted to a Skah patroller.

Nicole: Though she was recently taken, then made her way back to the Skah, I believe she is in deserving of a position as huntress.

Gideon: *nodeth* Defender sounds like a good position for Gideon...he can help keep an eye on Durga as she tries to fulfill her new rank as patroller ;-)

Cullen: Thanks for being interested in the Skah pack my friend! Have you posted a howl in any of the Skah lands yet? If you have and no one has replied, I deeply apologize...I think the entire pack's been a little preoccupied lately. If you haven's, feel free to come and howl in any of the Skah boards and one of our pack will come and welcome you in.

Frost: I do believe he's rejoined the Skah family...since he's only just become a Skah member, Frost will remain a subordinate for the time being.


Okay, now if I'm forgetting anything or anyone, or someone has a problem with their rank, feel free to smack me on the nose and let me know! I'll be gone for about a week, but I might actually have internet access, so I'll reply as soon as possible. Thanks!

Oh! And since things have been crazy, and I've been gone so long, I'm just going to put the promotions into effect. You can RP out how you think the promotion happened if you want, in any way you like...perhaps a private meeting, or a perticularly good kill that Kisu or Fal saw you do...whatever suits you best!

I may have to alter my latest Snowcone plot a bit. I'm extremely writer's blocked with her and I'm thinking it might be coming time to say goodbye to her, possibly as soon as next month (spring). Anyway I was thinking perhaps her last words might be asking Nokomis, her close friend, to take her place as Maiden. If Nokomis is a Diplomat she would never ask for a demotion for Nokomis, LOL!

I agree Diplomat is good for Nokomis, just throwing Maiden or MIT out as a possibility since I might be sending Snowcone through a natural disaster soon.

Yeah, she does need some training. She knows what she's seen, but really that's not exactly enough. lol

And yeah I'm thinking of what to do with Snowcone and Buster as I'm mentally blocked with them. I'm thinking Buster, being his...usual self, tries to play with a venomous rattlesnake and gets bitten. Doesn't that just so seem like a way he would go out? His impulsiveness finally does him in... Anyway, Snowcone sees him and tries to save him from the snake, but the snake has already envenomated Buster by the time she attacks it and then it turns to bite her as well.

Maybe I'll get to where I just can't do it to one or both of them. Perhaps I'll get inspired come spring. But if not...*makes cut-throat motion with a finger to signify what is likely to happen*

And yes Gideon should have fun with Durga. Perhaps he'll pull her aside and share some of life's lessons with her. Maybe share a bit of his past with her.

Thanks for replying. :D I have already howled in Firith Woods but as of yet had no replies. I know there is stuff happening in other places so don't worry really until that is all taken care of. I have a virus anyway so have been rather inactive except when up my mums. :crybaby:
