Okay, so I know this may have been better suited for the chatter board, but I just had to put it here for the time being...it seemed big news to me! :P I apologize if I'm causing problems but...

As most of you know, I'm on a dig right now, though thankfully I do get to come home and use the computer on some weekends. Well, my boyfriend, his grandmother, and two of my friends decided to come out and visit my dig site and see what all was going on.

I took them around the units, explained all the science and archaeology, then I took them down by the river, which has a spectacular view. It was then that Robbie (boyfriend) got down on one knee, pulled a little box from his pocket, and asked me to marry him! :lol:

Yup, it's now official, Robbie and I are engaged to be married sometime next summer, probably around the end of June. :D :D :D I couldn't believe it, I was shaking and crying all at once. So much for my not being a girly girl persona.

I just wanted to be sure to share this news with all of you, since many of you here are as close of friends to me as the ones in my hometown. :lol: I shall give updates as I figure things out...already I'm beginning to wonder how I'm gonna cram everything that apparently has to be done in only a year. :blink: *sigh* ah well. Happy RPing and I hope to be back on the board again sometime soon! *huggles all*

Heh thank you all! :lol: I'm still kinda reeling and not quite believing it finally happened.

Though with all the planning stuff to be done...I'm beginning to wonder if we should have just eloped! :P My mom and my sister are going crazy...though all I really have to do is nod or shake my head.

We plan to be married on June 30th of next year here in South Carolina. If anyone thinks they want to or might actually be able to come, please PM me 'cuz I'd love to meet some of you in person! I know it would be uber difficult for the most part for anyone to make it down here, but I thought I'd extendt he invitation anyway! :lol: :lol: :lol:
