Description: Lila Denver Monroe

Lila - April 14, 2006 12:38 AM (GMT)
Name: Lila Denver Monroe
Nickname(s): Lila, Li
Age: 4 years
Birth date: August sixteenth
Gender: Female
Alliance: Neutral/Good
Pack: Hoping to be Din’dea
Position: None yet

Appearance: Lila has a very gentle figure and one purely feminine. She possesses an elegance and swan like motion similar to that of a ballerina. Occasionally she has her moments of clumsiness just as any other living creature but for the most part she carries herself modestly and silently allowing her to sneak up on any one creature without even letting them know she had been there for long at all. Lila also has a very unusually expressive face. Her eyes can move up or down in the smallest degree and you can just tell that she is into mischief or ready to cry. It is a special gift she has and though some wish to hide their emotions she does not. Lila has a very beautiful coat of fur keeping her warm in all conditions. Thick and fluffy in the winter and thinner in the summer like all wolf’s fur becomes she finds it incredibly useful for many reasons. The color of her fur is a light dusky grey mingled with white and creamy hues. Her face and chest as well as her legs are cloaked in a beautiful creamy white and the rest of her body is a mass of grey as well as her other main body colors. It is hard to pinpoint every hue in its particular place as it shifts with the wind. Lila’s eyes are steely grey with a hint of blue ringing her pupil like a halo. Her eyes as her facial features are expressive and have their own story to tell, all you have to do is look hard enough.

Personality: Never one to say much Lila is a reserved type of wolf who doesn’t like to lay her emotions and such out on the line. Instead Lila has been a very intelligent literate and is smart as a whip so to speak. Interested in every detail and anything that can be observed she is very logical and thinks quickly. She is much wiser than her years and when the time is right she can bark out orders like a drill sergeant. But for the most part Lila is silent as the earth when it is in its deep winter slumber. Other than her silence and her rather scientific manner of doing things Lila is a daydreamer and an adventurous young lady. She never lets a single person catch her in a daze and is constantly on guard and well organized when in front of others. Relationship wise Lila is very uneducated. She dislikes admitting that she is either wrong or knows nothing and she will deny heavily that she knows not a thing about love. In all truth she has only experienced the feeling in one of her wildest dreams.

History: Lila was born into a smaller pack of two beta wolves. Though many are born of the alpha pair, since the pack was dwindling the alpha gave his beta pair permission to mate. The lucky couple was ecstatic with joy when they born six pups, three however were stillborn. Left with three healthy pups, two female and one male, the family started to live their life in joy. It would be a long road they knew, with ups and downs just like a roller coaster, but they were ready to take it, or so they thought that they were ready but they knew not what treacherous things lay ahead.

The roller coaster went smoothly needing little maintenance until Lila reached the age of two years. It was summer then, a nice day when the three pups went out exploring. The brother was the more loud and obnoxious of the three, with his handsome but pup like mottled brown and grey fur he ran headlong into all trouble. It was he who brought them into the worst mess any could possibly imagine. Lila and her sister who was another adventurous female, but less bold than the brother sat chattering away to Lila while their brother was out playing mighty hunter. Though Lila was quiet and subtle she was very clever and she knew almost immediately that her brother was up to no good. He hadn’t made a noise for almost five minutes, a record time especially if he was not sleeping. Not wanting to be rude to her sister Lila nodded as if she were listening but all the while keeping one eye and one ear out for their sibling. Suddenly however there was a puppy yelp. Lila, acting on instinct, yelped back and stood up trying to find her brother. Her sister however was quicker and ran straight tot where she presumed her brother was. As Lila ran after her, their brother leapt out from a bush and laughed. “Ha ha! Got you sister!” Confused for a second she looked at her brother. Then she realized he had been playing. But her sister had not returned. Lila trotted into a small clearing and saw why. There was her sister, limp beneath the hooves of an enraged bull deer. For once Lila could no think clearly and her brother spoke not a word but their trance was broken quickly as the deer bucked. For a spilt second Lila looked into that raging deer’s eye’s that she knew she could not leave her sister with this raging and foaming creature. She saw her brother dash away but Lila did not. She focused on her sister. Though she was afraid she raced beneath the creature and grasped her sister by the nape of the neck. She yanked quickly and struggled with the body getting blood splashed about her and staining her pelt with the disgusting liquid. Somehow she escaped that bull deer and somehow she ended up panting over her sister with her parents before her. They looked at her with scorn and horror in their eyes. “What have you done!” Roared her father. Unaware of what they were talking about she looked at them not able to say anything. Then she realized what was going on, it looked as if the death was her own fault. “You killed your sister Lila!” Gasped her mother with rage. Her own father then began to snarl and growl chasing her out of her own family and all the while her brother did not a thing. Turning around she fled not knowing what else to do. It was then that she made her own special vows, a list of things she would never do again and that was when she decided to live cautiously and never become too trustworthy of others.

At the age of three another misfortune befell the quiet and considerate loner Lila. She had steered clear of other wolves for a while chatting nicely here and there and kindly avoiding any pack related situations but all her dodging could not last forever. She tired of being alone out in the forest and Lila knew she could not live here on her own forever. Weary from an especially long day of travel she began to settle in a nearby den for the evening. That was when she came. Lila had come to know her as she for there was not a word to describe her. The white female slithered in silently as night and growled silently behind Lila. Startled she looked at the female for a moment taking in her ghostly figure. “I am incredibly sorry miss. Have I taken your resting spot? I will leave immediately.” But as Lila went to the opening of the cave the white female blocked her way. “I need an assistant. You will be it. If you have any objections you shall die. You may call me Sheera or Miss, nothing more or less, come pup!” Knowing that the time for a debate was not now Lila nodded and followed the female out of the den. “Prove yourself useful, go to the pack nearby and steal some of their stocked meat, I am hungry. “ Shocked at the rudeness of this wolf and the preposterous suggestion Lila shook her head. “Sheeba! I cannot do such a thing!” The white wolf rose, her eyes flashed. “You dare defy me whelp!” After that argument and a severe beating Lila took to what she commanded her. It wasn’t a good life and to put it bluntly Lila hated it, but she had a plan, a plan of escape. Months later on the hard and rocky trail of living with the white wolf Lila was on a quest when she let herself collapse. The Wolf growled at her to get up but she acted as if she were dead. “Rise I say!” But Lila did not move. “Useless! Rise!” After receiving a few slashed from the wolf’s ivory teeth she got the impression that Lila was dead. As the wolf walked away Lila arose and then she ran, she was free and it would stay that way.

And somehow, by some miracle Lila ended up here. She didn’t know how to describe it, but it was beautiful. Flowers, trees, grass, air, and hope. It was a long forgotten feeling and as she took in everything that passed her by she felt it, hope. There is a chance that she will find something here though her history is vague. No one ever knew what happened and now it was time for a fresh start, a new Lila, and a new life.
