Name: Ryoku
Age: 2 years
Gender: Male
Pack: Lone Wolf
Position: None
Appearance: Ryoku's pelt is smooth and silky, and black with some really dark brown and a small patch of white underneath his muzzle, and a few thin streaks of white going about his silky, black tail. He stands just a little taller and larger than average wolf size and height and has strong heavy paws to accompany his bulk. He is well built for fighting and his numerous scars all over his body, especially his face, prove he's been in many battles, and a few round ones are left from bullet wounds after being shot several times. His largest scar extends diagonally on his stomach starting from the base of his right forearm to his left leg, cutting deeply in his flesh. His eyes are a gold color around the pupil and a bit reddish around the edges farthest from it. They almost never give off any emotion he's feeling and usually look about at his surroundings, making sure everything is in place, and everything is as it was when he was last there. His muzzle is lined with scars and houses sharp, white fangs used in the cutting of flesh. His sharp claws are a bit long and large and can easily slice through almost anything he pleases. The tone of his calling depends on his mood. The most common is a long, low, and dark sounding howl, which signifies he is feeling no specific emotion, though he may be feeling a bit vengeful. When his evil side emerges, his howl may sound even lower, a bit shorter, and a lot darker than his usual one. If his good side has emerged, his calling will be lighter, just a tad higher, and longer.
Personality: Ryoku has a split personality. His good side is full of pride and is also very proud. He is usually very curious and loves to be messing around. He will also open up to any wolf that finds some way to befriend him, as not many have been able to. It's this side that is caring and loving, though knowing him and his other sides, it's hard to imagine such a brute would be loving and caring. The first encounter with him pretty much decides whether you'd be on his good side or his bad side. Getting on his good side simply depends if you manage to say the right things to him, resulting in his trust in you. Saying the bad things simply ensures a fight and possibly your death, as he thinks highly of himself and is confident in his ability to kill, since he has killed countless before.
His bad side is uncontrolable and evil. That side fills him with thoughts of murder and bloodshed, sometimes resulting in those around him to be killed in his bloody and deadly onslaught. Those that get in his way at the wrong time will most likely be killed. This is also the side that keeps him going for revenge of those many that have cause pains in his life. Especially his revenge on a gray wolf named Hissatsu. Once he's begun thinking of revenge, he sometimes loses himself and goes crazy, usually killing those around him, as stated before.
His personalities usually blend in and create a neutral side in Ryoku. His eyes never give off any emotion so it's hard to identify what he's feeling unless he tells you himself. He seems to worry about nothing except for hunting and surviving. He hardly does anything other than hunt and the occasional fight. Watching him, this side is the most boring since he almost never does anything interesting. It's usually at night when his personalities create an unequal balance and one usually comes out on top. If it's his bad side, an animal or two may end up dying. If its his good side, He'll simply think for hours at a time.
History: Ryoku used to belong to the Celestial Lake Pack as a younger pup. Everything was going well. His parents, Seishin and Hissatsu, were the Alphas. He used to play around with his three other siblings and he could remember those four months were joyous. One day though, the sky was dark. The sun hardly made its light past the unusually darkened clouds. He was out playing with his siblings when he heard a few screams far off, coming from the Lake. He stopped a moment and then continued to play with his siblings. He then heard a series of snarls and whimpers a lot closer. He tilted his head at the sounds that came from the other side of the bushes, when the sounds grew into intense fighting. He stuck his head through the bushes as he heard the blood-curling screams coming from Seishin. She was being torn to shreds by Hissatsu. Ryoku watched in horror as she now lay an unmoving mass of fur covered in blood. He saw Hissatsu leave the small clearing. He turned around to some high-pitched whimpers, squeals, and screams. He turned around and saw two smaller, bloody masses lying motionless on the ground near him. He saw the third moving in the jaws of his father. Hissatsu tightened his grip and blood began dripping down out of his mouth onto the ground as the pup stopped moving. Ryoku ran out of the bushes and towards the Lake, the regular meeting place of the pack. All were lying there. Dead. And now, He would die too.
Ryoku fled the Lake that same day and became a wanderer. He was alone so he had to fend for himself and teach himself to fight. He also had to teach himself to hunt prey and learn the patience involved in the hunt. Later, he became a cold-hearted killer at the age of one year. His easiest game were humans, though he was also known to have killed several wolves. Many men placed a great price on his pelt and many hunters set out to kill him. For each human he killed, an even greater price was placed upon his death, and the humans continued coming with trained dogs and loaded guns. He came close to dying several times and slowly learned that the waves of humans wouldn't cease until he was dead. He stopped killing the humans one by one and began causing damage to their villages. By this time, the humans began trying new and clever ways to kill Ryoku, though, he outwitted many. One day, however, he was caught in a bear trap and had no food or water for 3 days, until the owner of the trap came, released him from it and was about to put a bullet through him, though he held back for a slight moment and since the man was within biting range of him, and despite being so weak, Ryoku used this to his advantage and bit the human, eventually causing an infection and soon killing the man. The humans never found the body, and Ryoku no longer showed his face around them so he was believed to be dead and soon enough, Men stopped looking for him.
For some reason (it is believed that his good side over-came his evil one), Ryoku later abandoned his bloodthirsty quest but, began training hard, strengthening his abilities, both physically and mentally, so that one day, he would find Hissatsu once again, kill him, and get his revenge.
