Title: Alcanyx- Accepted
Description: Casual Wanderer

Alcanyx - March 25, 2006 05:07 PM (GMT)
(It's ZITA again! )

Name: Alcanyx
Age: Four
Gender: F
Pack: Packless and likely to remain so.
Position: Would make a good raider, grew up nicking food from under the noses of humans and wolves alike.

Appearance: Alcanyx is a bit taller than average, but she is not bulky. Her form is, in fact, rather slim. Alcanyx is a southern wolf, so that is to be expected. Her fur is of medium length, white and gray and shades of reddish orange throughout. It is ratehr wirey and not the warmest in the winter. Her eyes are a bright yellow and exude a powerful confidence and an attitude. Around them, her fur is pale and the rest ofher face is mostly gray, pale yellow-brown, and white, safe for the top of her nose, which is an orange color. Her body is mostly mingled blacks, browns, and tans into a pretty standard color that blends in well with the ground, though her legs are lighter.

Alcanyx moves with head high and a strength to her, confidence in her motion to match her bright eyes. Alcanyx likes to be on the move and is rather graceful, she can go for long distances without tiring and her legs are strong. Not only that, but she's rather fast. Alcanyx is a long-limbed wolf from the south, where those legs came in handy for seeing over long grass and letting off extra heat in the hot summer. She isn't as accustomed to the cold as most other wolves, but she toughs it out like a trooper.

Alcanyx is a decent fighter to and can hold her own in a brawl, as she is used to it with the rowdy pack she grew up with and her strange life wandering. However, Alcanyx may not have the stamina in a fight of a larger wolf for a long time. She is better for short attacks and is better when she can jump away. Alcanyx may be considered attractive, she keeps in good shape and though she may be a little unkempt she does wash regularly. Alcanyx has a rather aloof, rough-and-tumble air to her.

Personality: Alcanyx is a bit of a wise-ass. She is snarky and has a sharp tongue if you make her mad, though has a good sense of humor other than that. She speaks with a strong outland accent, being from the south, and is proud of her origins there. Alcanyx is the kind of wolf that gets along very well without a pack, but she likes the company of other wolves. This wolf is very proud of herself and has strong self esteem. She can be rather easily riled into a fight, but it is usually the antagonist that regrets their choice. Alcanyx is a great wolf to have on your side because she is loyal and reliable, if a bit moody at times. Alcanyx can lie well, though she doesn't like to. She has a sense of right and wrong and tends to follow her gut, though that often gets her into trouble. Also, Alcanyx can be rather loud and rowdy when she's happy, but don't annoy her or you'll lose a few fingers. This is one wolf who doesn't care what others think of her, and makes it no secret what she thinks of them.
Alcanyx isn't much of a pack wolf though. She was raised among casual, rowdy friends that hung together as a loose pack, where there were a few wolves everyone generally respected and everyone was a friend. Pack rankings make her feel constrained and uneasy. She doesn't like having to bow to others, her belief being that all respect and no play makes for a really boring pack. She treats friends like family, and prefers friends to packs.

History: This wolf was born and raised in the more southerly open country, regularly coming into contact with humans. Her pack was a raucous, casual lot that took delight in outsmarting their lupine and humanoid neighbors, causing all sorts of trouble. They were much-maligned theives and were happiest when cheating humans out of their livestock. Alcanyx was and still is not comfortable with strict pack rankings because of her upbringing. The loose pack structure did not command much respect from anybody. It was more along the lines of, "be good to your pack mates and we'll be good to you". It was a rough-and-tumble life, full of exciting raids and clever fighting. Alcanyx loved it.
Unfortunately, a cattle-raiding pack won't last long. Humans began to try to eliminate the wolves. Alcanyx decided that she would be one less head to count and worry about if she left, so she decided to head north. With an emotional, warm good bye to her family, she set out for the strange beyond. Alcanyx was not entirely sure what she would find, but she was excited none the less.
Alcanyx proved she could take good care of herself and was actually rather suited to life on the road. She was good at catching the small game the neutral lands provided and found herself also to be good at stealing from packs. She made a few friends, but generally didn't stick with anyone for too long. Alcanyx also made her fair share of enemies, as stealing was her way of making her living.
So onward she goes, travelling and wandering. Alcanyx has a liking for seeing the world and exploring. Expect no permanent allegiance with her, because Alcanyx is ever the roamer, but she will be a good friend if you extend the paw of kindness to her. Alcanyx will likely remain packless, but she might help out in a pack's afairs if asked nicely.
