Name: Bueno Espiritu

Nick Name: Spirit

Age: 4 springs

Gender: brute

Pack: Loner

Position:

Appearance:

Fate has a cruel way with the kindess of souls and that is exactly how fate was with this one. Looking at Bueno Espiritu you can't tell what kind of wolf he is because he's missing patches of fur. Yes, horrible neglect and disease in his past has caused him to be nearly bald. Even his tail only has bushy fur on the last quarter of it. He has no fur on his flank, but he has it on his rear shoulders and thighs. He still has a patch of fur in the middle of his back, but his fore-shoulders and pillars are bare. His rear pillars still have fur along his haunches and paws. The tips of his ears are also bald and There are bald spots on his face and neck. However the ones on his neck may not be as noticable. His fur patches are all an ugly grey color because they lost their hue. So, basically he's more than half bald. The skin that's showing isn't always pretty either. Some days it looks like ordinary pale, grey skin. Due to his uncontageous disease it peals and had red sore everywhere and sometimes bleeds...unfortunatly it never heals completely. He has two different colored eyes. The left eye is green and the right eyes is grey. He can't see as well through his right eye as he can with his left. His gaint is fine. He's able to keep a sturdy pase depending on the need. Don't think just because he was abused makes him a weakling. Through that weathered skin you can see fine muscles that help him run and fight. Bueno Espiritu can fight, but he dosn't like to very often. He dosn't even like hunting much because it's taking the life of another. However, he does understand that he needs it to survive. He's plenty able. His voice is soft and gentle. This often surprises others and throws them off guard. How could such a morbid creature sound and act so gentle? Well, he wasn't born morbid as you'll find out in his history.

Personality:

He is his name, which means Good Spirit. He was born with a kind and gentle nature so he was named as such. He loves all living creatures and feels they should all be treated equally. He even dosn't like hunting simply because it meant taking the life of another creature. He's not a dumb hippy though. He knows he needs to eat to survive and hunting is the only way to do this, so despite disliking it he still does it. He dosn't like fighting either. He believes anything can be solved peacefully through words instead of actions. Again, equality. He is well aware that most others don't think like him. After his years of abuse he is aware of how morbid he looks and when others see him they either run away from fear or tease him or ask what happened to him and treat him like some handy capped old wolf. He wasn't old, anyway. He hates the mocking kind. The bullies who tease and torcher because they're either bord, want power, or try to make themselves feel better. If he sees one hurting another his heart will grow cold and he will attack the bully doing the harming. This is also a trait he inherrited from his years of abuse. He can'y stand watching others be abused and feels like he must protect them...keep them safe...but he's normally shunned from both for being a vile creature. That's one thing he's afraid of when trying to make a friend, but he had an even greater fear. Gradually he loses more fur every year from his desiese. He's afraid that one day it may take his life with his fur, but so far the fur is all it seems to be affecting. He can't stop thinking about what happened that day, so commonly at night he'll lie awake wondering if there was anything he could have done. His mind can be everywhere at once and sometimes he may call lupes by the old names of his pack friends. He really wishes the life he had wasn't his, that's why he so desperatly wants to protect other's lives, so they won't ever have to feel the way he does. That won't stop him, just because he dosn't like his own life dosn't mean he won't fight to protect it, he will fight! He's an outcast...a kind spirit wandering alone...merely searching for a home.

History:

Bueno Espiritu was born in a pack of wolves who spoke spanish. That's why his name is spanish, meaning Good Spirit. As a young pup he lived happily as the son of a beta pair. He loved everything as soon as he was born, so the deltas, whom in his pack gave the pups their names named him Bueno Espiritu. He didn't normally perticipate in pup brawls because he didn't see why they had to practice fighting. It has always been his absolutly absolute last resort. Many used to call him Pollo, which meant Chicken, thinking he didn't do alot of fighting and hunting because he was afraid. However his good spirit won him many close friends who he never seemed to be apart from. Especially the gamma's pups, all three of them had been his closest friends, but unfortunatly, they were the first to die when fate took a harsh turn on this lupes life...

Bueno Espiritu was a spring old when it happened...when THEY came...the twolegged creatures. They came carrying strange things that shot at them. He was playing a harmless game of tag with the gamma's pups at the time. In fact the one he had a crush on...his closest friend...was the one who ran into them first. Literally, she bumped into one and in shock and fear the creature shot her. Spirit saw it...saw her life taken in that split second. He didn't know what to do. He wanted to howl for her, but he soon felt sleepy and before he knew it he collapsed and fell alseep.

He woke in a filthy place. It was covered with rotting carrion and insects. His vision was blurry at the moment, but he could just make out the figures of his felloe lupes. At the time, both his eyes were green. Grass gree, even the green one now was a little faded. They were surronded by a fence with very sharp thorns on it. These were not like any thorns he had seen before. The surviving members of the pack included the beta pair, gamman, a raider and two hunters, an alphan pup, and an omega. That was it and is was fairly sad to them all what had happened. The betas took the role of being in charge, but it wasn't needed. They went days without food and it seemed all they had to eat was the carrion and eat it, they did. The alphan pup soon fell ill and died. The omega was sick and forced to stay in the corner of their encloser away from everyone else. They then came back, the two-legged creatures. They took them out, one by one and trotured and abused the. They put them in fighting pits to fight agents dogs and burnt them with fire. The most shocking was what they did to the gamman. The pinned her down, in a funny way. They then stuck a knife in her and pealed her skin off. Spirit stared in horror, but was soon preocupied before he could watch the rest. A burning trig was being used by one of the creature to burn him and singe his fur. They were soon back in the encloser.

Bueno Espiritu was confused, hungry, and in the worst shape of his life. The beta was covered in bite and scratch wounds, as was the raider. The betan laid there almost dead and the hunters were in about the same stae he was. The omega wasn't there. Had she escaped? He'll never know. This was when his eye turned grey. The burning twig had singed the skin around his right eye and it was now stuck shut. He thought he'd never use it again.

The days continued and right now he's at 2 springs. He's scrawny and ill looking. It's him and the hunters left. The way he saw these things only had one purpose...eneilation. There was only one thing he had to worry about. They were hungry, despite the carrion, they were all hungry. Even Bueno Espiritu had considered what wolf might taste like, but he wouldn't let his spirit falter now, no. Either way, the other two were trained hunters and would surely team up on him before he could get a hold of one of them. It was then, while Spirit was attempting to groom himself that he relized a patch of fur just blankly missing on his flank. He figured it must have been something done by the creatures, but he lost more fur as his horrible life went on. The other two lupes were afraid to come near him, let alone eat him. They figured he had a contagious and deadly desiese and at the time he thought so too.

One day as he was put in the dog pit, some other twolegged creatures came to the ones that had been torchering him all these years and...took them away. He didn't understand it, but he certainly wasn't going to trust any of them anymore, so he took that chance to escape. He ran, far away. He came to a place where he was able to rest and eat REAL food again. He was healthy once more, but his fur continues to fall and his skin to peal.

He now wanders as a loner. He knows english pretty well, but it's not proper yet. Just be patient with him. After talking with the english speaking lupes for awhile he'll pick it up perfect, eventually.
