Three brothers came to these lands to establish their packs. Although their history was fraught with sorrow and guilt, they came together to start again, in lands of their own. What they did not know was that the lands of three other packs leaked into their newfound territories. Now, five spirits have made themselves known to the packs, each choosing a pack to guard and bringing many mysteries and questions with them. No one knows why they are here, and they will not say. What lurks in the shadows, that they are so determined to help those they do not even know?
A sudden fire sprang up in the plains, forging its destructive path through the forests of the Da'Lith, Tyrehl, Erkeni and Veren packs, only to be mysteriously stopped at the borders of the Zehr. Snow began to fall, and that combined with the strength of the spirits extinguished the fire and banished the danger. Though the air is cleansed of smoke and the wolves' spirits restored, nothing but time can heal the damaged lands now.
The altar in the spirits' clearing holds a strange box, once surrounded by a protective orb. Whether this was to keep something out or hold something in, none but the spirits know. But due to the abnormal fury of the inferno, the orb has been shattered, and the container cracked. A strange black wolf, not quite real, has appeared, wreaking havoc wherever he goes.
When times are dark, when the war begins, who will you follow?
Da'Lith The Imperious Led by the proud Chael, these wolves rely heavily on strength. The tend to think of themselves as the elite when it come to hunting, and they all have a high self-esteem. This pack is for the powerful fighters, who maybe aren't evil but aren't completely good either. They have been recently joined by the spirit Tuzoli, who is very much like the arrogant alpha.
Tyrehl The Gallant Kind and gentle, these wolves are the peacemakers. They will back down if it means ending a conflict. Their alpha is Vyess, a thoughtful, quiet wolf, along with his mate Lakota. To be a member of this pack, it is advisable that you be patient and loving. Sweet Eera has been chosen as the spirit to guide this pack.
Erkeni The Forlorn These wolves, ruled by stern Kehme, are quite like those of the Da'Lith. The main difference is that the members of this pack tend to use their brains more than their brawn. They can be judgemental, and first impressions are everything to them. Here reside the wolves who dislike change, and prefer to have everything be the same way it always has been. Young Orilise is the wise ethereal guardian of these wolves.
Veren The Misfits This terra belongs to the pack made up of the wolves who have no where else to go. Most have been thrown out of their packs or left at their own accord because they did not fit in. Here, once again, they can be part of a pack. The new leader is Milleno, and sarcastic Faelire has elected to be their spiritual guiding annoyance.
Zehr The Malevolent The pack for those wolves who live with a darkened past and blackened souls. These wolves live on the edge and have come to hate all wolves who have nothing on their conscience and nothing evil lurking their pasts. They are led by the feared Tahmores Slash. Indar, their one-time spiritual guardian, has abandoned the pack.
Caladur The Sly Cunning and shrewd, this is the pack for those who lurk in the shadows. Here reside the eavesdroppers and spies, the assassins and double agents. They are very secretive and are more dark than good. No one knows what their real motives are, or whose side they are really on. Their new alpha is now Caitra, and Indar is their spirit.
