((Quick Note: To avoid further inquiries - his name is Finnish!))
Name: Tuomas
Age: Five months
Gender: male
Pack: Din'dea
Position: Pup
Appearance: Tuomas is a small pup with a soft-looking, smooth coat. His pelt is a mixture of creamy white and a color that looks like a cross between tan and pale brown. He has an eye color that is rare among wolves - not simply green, but pale green. He has the natural paws of a pup - they appear to be too large for his body! Since there is little room for his body to store all his weight, he appears to be very plump and well-fed, but in truth, he is thin. Tuomas' little claws and teeth are very sharp, another natural thing for a wolf his age. His tail is thin, for it has had little time to become bushy, similar to the rest of his coat. He appears to be the type of pup that could either win or lose in a fight depending on the devotion of his opponent - he could easily beat a slow, uncaring pup, but a perseverant one would be a hard opponent for him. His ears seem to be very large for those of a pup. Tuomas' form makes him appear as a tricky and cunning wolf, which he is indeed.
Personality: Deep inside, Tuomas is a kind and caring wolf. However, he appears as a smart-aleck and a trickster who loves to make snappy comments and backtalk. He lies quite often, and so it has turned into an almost uncontrollable habit. He adores being able to fool others and beat them in verbal fights. Tuomas' favorite thing is simply to run wild and feel like a free, wild wolf. However, he dislikes it when wolves are smarter than him, perhaps because he seeks to be very intelligent. He cannot stand anything obnoxious, including wolves who talk too much or prey that is too hard to catch. Tuomas is very cunning and is therefore very good at sliding out of sticky situations and trouble. He loves to go on adventures, and doesn't care if he needs to bend the rules to do so. He cares about all wolves he knows, but can be cruel to strangers. He is often secretive and silent, and refuses to give anyone too much information.
History: Tuomas was born to an artificially inseminated mother in a wildlife preserve. He was the only survivor out of two pups, for his sister was stillborn. His slightly strange mother often spoke of escaping - and one day, the two of them finally attained freedom. His mother dug a hole under the fence for months so that they could fit into it and out the other side. Tuomas found himself outside the fence for the first time in his life - now he was truly a free wolf. His mother was struggling to get used to this new life, but she refused to let her son know that. Things went smoothly when Tuomas was still too young for meat and when his meals were his mother's upchucked food. However, when he was able to eat meat, his mother would often find merely enough food for Tuomas and be forced to go without a meal herself for up to a week at a time. Tuomas noticed that she was steadily getting thinner and looking even more sick. He worried that something bad was going to happen to her, though he did not yet understand the concept of death.
Finally, there came a day when his mother went to sleep and did not wake up the next time the sun rose. Tuomas thought she was simply in a deep sleep and that she would awaken if he bothered her long enough. However, he tried to wake her up for hours and she remained still and silent. Finally, Tuomas realized what death was - to him, it meant going to sleep and not being able to wake up again. Tuomas ran off, getting lost, blinded by tears and his own sorrow. After his mother's death, he found it difficult to take care of himself. He would often be forced to eat baby birds that had fallen from their nests, or stillborn rabbit babies stolen from the homes of their mothers. At five months, things began to look up as his hunting skills improved and his grief began to slowly but steadily fade. Now Tuomas wanders the lands alone, eternally sorrowful. He only hopes that one day he will find a new pack to care for him once more.
He sounds a really great little character and has an interesting history too - accepted, of course!!
