Title: Sophette And Marion- Accepted
Description: The devil and her follower...

Sophette and Marion - August 11, 2005 11:35 PM (GMT)
Name: Sophette and Marion

Age: Sophette is four years old, and Marion is five years old.

Gender: Sophette is a fae, and Marion is a brute.

Pack: Loner

Position:

Appearance: Sophette - A black wolf with white mottled into her fur, giving her an unusual appearance. She is large and muscular, with a threatening air about her that makes other wolves fear her. Her face is thin and cruel, and her yellow eyes stare down with the arrogance and haughtiness of a cruel queen, earning her the nickname "The Queen of Darkness." Sophette's legs are long and slender, making it easy for her to run quickly while hunting. Her ears always seem alert, and her bushy tail is almost always up in the air, showing that she considers herself to be a dominant wolf. Despite her feminine face, her power and her muscle have caused her to be mistaken for a brute in the past. Though she is actually slim, all of her extra muscle tissue makes her appear heavy and large. Sophette's well-shaped form makes her a skilled and even deadly fighter, and because of this few wolves like to bother her. She has unusually long claws, and her paws are brown, unlike the rest of her body. Her appearance alone has given her a nasty, fearful reputation.

Marion - A standard-colored wolf, his fur is mainly a mixture of white and brownish-grey. Through his darker parts run streaks of cream, dark brown, and black. His most distinct features are the short tigerlike black lines running along his back. An excess clump of fur sticks up on the end of his back, probably a problem from the annual, messy shedding of winter fur. His eyes are gentle, sparkling with kindness, and light brown. Marion's bushy tail is tipped with a dark black, not interrupted by any of the wolf's other pelt colors. He is thin and lacks in muscle, unlike his large sister. However, his legs are like stilts and can either help him run or make him collapse depending on his speed. He is not a very accomplished fighter and usually stays in the background while Sophette battles. His ears, almost always low in submission, share the coloring of the rest of his pelt and are white and black-brown.

Personality: Sophette - A cruel, uncaring fae often descibed as a devil or a witch. There is something strange about her and the way she acts, though no one, not even Marion, can figure out exactly what it is. She enjoys destruction, watching others suffer, and the sight of all blood except for her own and Marion's. Though she is almost always cruel and dominant towards her older brother, she knows that he is much wiser than she is and actually bears a deep love and respect for him. Her fierceness can be rightfully described as a last resort for the preservation of her brother's life, not her own. For Sophette has seen even more hardships than Marion has, and she is no longer afraid to die. She also bears a deep respect for the Amarth pack and admires them greatly, for she knows that they are cruel and intelligent. Sophette dislikes the Skah - after all, the are the kindest of packs, and Sophette cannot stand the sight of a kind wolf. She also dislikes pups, for they are naught but noisy, squeaky, needy pests, and kindness, for it is a curse - all who are kind sacrifice too much of themselves for others. Sophette is a cruel, wicked wolf, through and through.

Marion - A quiet brute who prefers to be left alone to ponder his own thoughts and experiences. He is generally kind, but feels the need to protect his younger sister, Sophette. However, he often feels useless, knowing his own weakness and inability to defend her. He is always distant in groups and reveals his true self more often when he is alone with his sister. Marion is truly happy, joyful, and silly, though it sometimes gets him into trouble during dominance displays from Sophette. He believes that everything can be sorted out through peaceful discussion, and that fighting is wrong and always unnecessary. He hangs back and lets Sophette make all the decisions and impressions for the two of them. Marion is physically weak, but he is much more intelligent than his sister, rightfully considered to be the brains of the duo. His kindness rarely shows through, as Sophette seeks to make others believe that he is just as cruel as she is. Marion is rather selfless, especially when his sister is in need. He is cowardly and shy, and rarely even speaks to strange wolves.

History: Marion was the only surviving pup born into his litter, a very disappointing thing to his large pack of ten. Right away, his weakness and cowardice began to show through, and he even feared the light for his first few days of living. He grew up as a failure, not good at hunting or fighting and merely a good thinker, and for this reason he was shunned by his pack. However, when he reached one year of age, Marion did not leave them, a rare thing among wolves. He wanted to stay with the pack and prove to them that he could be useful...and he did. When the next litter was born, once again only one survived. The sole survivor was a beautiful black and white fae, well-built and the pride of her parents. Marion helped to raise his sister, who was christened Sophette, and the two enjoyed each other's company. Yet as Sophette grew older, it became clear that she was cruel and bossy. Marion tried to help her but failed - she would certainly be wicked forevermore.

When Sophette was finally old enough to leave the pack, Marion went with her, knowing that it was his destiny to help her. She hated his prescence, and yet she felt an appreciation of him and his intelligence. Sophette bossed him around often, and sometimes even injured him in her frequent dominance displays. Marion tolerated all of this, remaining the kind wolf he had always been despite all his hardships. The two often had to scavenge for food, as it was often scarce and Marion lacked the skills he needed to help out on hunts. Despite all this, they managed to rise above their hunger and always came out on top, or at least close to it. One day, the duo agreed to search for a pack, for a new family to be close to, friendly with, and connected to forever. Since then, they have been searching for a place to call home. They knew from the first moment that they set out that one day they would succeed, and find a new family. Now they wander together, searching for a new home.

I really enjoyed reading this, I particularly like the contrast between the two wolves but the way they still hold respect for each other. Accepted, of course! I'll move it into the 'S' section of the archives seeing as that's the first name on the title.
