Name: Keno
Age: 3 years
Gender: Male
Pack: Loner
Position:
Appearance: Keno has a beautiful and luxurious pelt, made of long fur and pure cream in color. The only other coloration he has on him is a slight amount of black on the iip of his right ear. His ears stand erect and are always alert, perking at the slightest sound. His deep, emerald green eyes have a confident expression, as does his whole face and stance. His mouth, when opened, shows a nice set of pure white teeth. His head sits on strong, broad shoulders which carry strong, muscular front legs. His torso is wide, but more from muscle than fat. His hind legs are also strong and muscular. His feet are big, but only in proper proportion to the rest of his body. He has a long and bushy tail that is held straight out in a confident pose. His gait is slow and confident, or even quick and confident, but he often moves slowly to keep silent, especially when on the hunt. His voice is low, confident, and gentle. Looking at him, he seems to have a regal appearance.
Personality: Keno is a very confident wolf, as well as intelligent. You need brains and brawn? He's got both. Although he would rather use his muscle for hunting. He really doesn't like fighting with other wolves, but he will if it is absolutely necessary. He likes to hunt and eat, and he loves to talk to and associate with other wolves. He's always there if you need help with something, and he was very loyal to his previous pack and wants nothing more than to find another pack to show his loyalty to. He doesn't like evil or violence. He thinks that stuff is very weak-minded. His philosophy is that almost anything can be resolved with kindness, and always show kindness whether you like someone or not.
History: Keno was born into a pack of about twenty. He was the largest of a litter of 4, born to the alpha and alphess. He remembers how warm and peaceful it was in his den, and liked nothing more than to be close to his mother, brother, and two sisters. He loved his father too, but didn't see too much of him before he was weaned and allowed out of the den.
After he was weaned, he and his siblings were finally allowed to explore the world outside the den. Oh, what a wonderful world it was. They were allowed to frolick and play an a meadow where they were safe and could smell flowers and chase bugs. When Keno was a year old, he became a subordinate of the pack. He was very respectful of wolves of higher rankings, but really wanted to hold a higher position. After half a year as a subordinate, he became a hunter.
Because of his size, strength, and intelligence, he was quite good at hunting. The pack never missed their kill when he was their to help. He very much enjoyed hunting. He liked the rush he got chasing after prey, and he especially liked the rush he got when he sank his teeth into the prey, often being the one to deliver the fatal bite. When he turned three years of age, the alpha decided to make him the chief hunter, but before it could be made official, Keno's life changed forever.
Two days after his 3rd birthday, the morning went as usual. However, in early afternoon, somebody in the pack frantically ran to the den to alert the alpha and alphess that there was a fire quickly sweeping through their territory. It seemed everybody was in a panic, even Keno. Finally, Keno got himself together enough to find an escape route. He took that escape route, every few seconds stopping for a quick howl, hoping his pack was following. When he had gotten out of his pack's territory, he turned around to discover that the whole land, including the path he had taken, was completely engulfed in flames. He searched all around in the area surrounding the land for his pack, but found no one. In horror, he stood by and watched as his pack's land - his home burned to a crisp.
After the fire had died out completely, Keno went back in to survey the damage and search for any signs of survivors. Sadly, however, every wolf he found was badly burned and dead. Finally, he made it to the den and found his parents, the alpha pair, just as dead as the rest. Then the realization hit him that he was the only survivor of the horrible fire. He felt terrible, wishing that all the love and loyalty he had for the pack, all his strength and intelligence, could have saved his family and friends from a fiery death. Knowing he had to move on, however, he left his pack in search of another pack that he might be able to be part of.
(Edit - I spaced out my paragraphs, as requested, and also made a minor editation to ("couldn't save his family and friends" is now "could have saved his family and friends"))
Accepted. Nice Application, though perhaps after I move it, you might consider properly paragraphing your history.
