Duvessa - July 12, 2005 07:39 PM (GMT)
(Hello, Zita here! What is below in quotes is the original bio written for Duvessa by Kristen, her original RPer. I have adopted Duvessa and finally decided to do a little sprucing up, attempting to take care in not altering her but just bringing the bio up to speed with her age.)

Name: Duvessa
Age: 3
Gender: F
Pack: Amarth
Position: Chief Huntress

Appearance: Duvessa is larger than average for her age, and it is something that doesn't go unnoticed. She is muscular and strong in build, but not in such a way as to be too masculine. She was this way all the way back to puphood. Duvessa can seem daunting in appearance when she wants to with her size. Duvessa's fur is a faded black color with glints of brown when the sun strikes it. Her eyes, brown in color, are sharp and alert. This alertness is no illusion, her black-tipped ears are always listening and sharp to even the smallest noises.
Despite her size, Duvessa is not clumsy. Of course, she is not as graceful a wolf nor as swift a runner as her sister Aiyana. She is in good shape though and is reasonably fast and agile for a wolf her size.

Personality: Duvessa is a rather serious wolf. Her devotion to her sister Aiyana is stronger than iron, and she will always do her best to look after her. Harming Aiyana in front of Duvessa is one way to make sure you will come to some serious harm. Duvessa considers herself to be strong and worthy of respect as well as a bit of a rebel, but she is not the sort to pick on wolves of lower rank. She prefers a fair fight with someone more equally matched to her anyway, as it's more interesting. She values fair play.
Duvessa is quite selfless to those she cares about, the best example being Aiyana, and will make personal sacrifices for them. She is usually calm and collected in demeanor, and it is hard to make Duvessa show signs of being rattled by anything.
However, if you make Duvessa angry sparks will fly. When she gets mad, Duvessa will mindlessly attack the nearest opponent, be they friend or foe. No one will find mercy from her wrath until she has calmed down.
Duvessa looks down on "goodie-goodie" wolves, because the believes that they are all lying. This is a reason why she is currently well-matched in the Amarth pack, and she has come to hate the Skah wolves.
Among the Amarth, Duvessa is loyal to the Alphas. She only on very rare occasions will question their orders even if she is unsure of what will come, for the moment they have her trust. Duvessa will do her best for the pack.

History:

(Written by Kristen:
Duvessa was the last to be born in her litter of five. Her three brothers were all an average size, but her sister, Aiyana, was the runt. From the time Duvessa began to walk, she had always thought it not fair that Aiyana got picked on because she was small. Duvessa began to stick up for her sister and to teach those who bothered her a lesson using her needle sharp fangs.

In turn, Aiyana became Duvessa’s best friend. Duvessa did not get along with her goody-goody parents and Aiyana was always able to listen and give advice. They played together and they talked. They even caught their first field mouse working together as a team. Duvessa’s happiest memories are those with her sister.

When Duvessa was about 3 months old, her parents told them that they would now be going out to meet the rest of the pack. Duvessa hated the storm Skies pack. They were just too proper and good her taste. She spoke up and told her parents that she did not want to belong to the pack anymore. They told her that she had no choice.

Duvessa did not like not being able to make her own decisions and confronted Aiyana about it. In the end, Duvessa decided to leave and to her joy Aiyana came with her.

They traveled over the land for what seemed like endless days, living off any food they came by and mice. The harsh wilderness shaped them into mature puppies. Duvessa knew that she would have died if her loyal sister and dearest friend, Aiyana, had not chosen to stay by her side. )

(Zita's addition:

Upon arriving on the lands, the sisters sought acceptance to the Amarth pack. The betan of the time, Luna, told them that they must each bring her a fish and a crow's feather. Duvessa, however, was to do this on the Amarth lands while her sister was to do it on the terra of the light-hearted Skah. Duvessa was reluctant to watch her sister go alone, but the decision was made before the pup could object. They both gained acceptance into the Amarth pack.

Duvessa was accepted by the Amarth wolves, though some doubted Aiyana. They saw her as soft-hearted, weak, but Duvessa protected her. Duvessa gained the rank of Chief Huntress as she grew older, and her sister that of Hunter.

Last year, Aiyana was sent into the Din'dea packlands to spy on spies. She fell in love with the Guardian, Thunder, and became pregnant with his pups. Meanwhile, Duvessa has worried about her from home but gone on with Amarth pack life. Of course, what shall happen to the sisters when Aiyana's treason is revealed is still to be seen.)

QUOTE
I already have 3 wolf charries (Kiowa, Miakoda and Kiwidinok), but I am really active with all of them. I hope it is okay for me to have Aiyana and Duvessa too.

I would create Duvessa’s and Aiyana’s account as one accept I plan on making them go different ways when they are older.

Name: Duvessa

Age: 4 months

Gender: Female

Pack: Loner

Position:

Appearance: Duvessa is a beautiful wolf, hence her name which means ‘dark beauty’. Her pelt is a faded black color with a hint of brown when she is romping in the sunlight and her eyes are dark brown. Her orbs have an alert look to them that most wolves are lacking. Her black tipped audits and always listening. She is a HUGE cub for her size. Duvessa is very strong and muscular. She is not clumsy, but she is also not as graceful as her sister, Aiyana, or as swift for that matter. When she walks you can see her muscles and that is saying something since she is still very young. She is a tad bit too skinny because there is not a lot to eat and she gives most of it to her sister.

Personality: Duvessa is a serious wolf with immense devotion to her sister. She thinks of herself as a big bad wolf and is ready to teach those who are mean to her dear sister a lesson. Duvessa is the dominate type of wolf, but does not like to pick on those who are weaker than she. She would prefer that her opponents are equal to her so she can enjoy the challenge. Duvessa values fair play. She is willing to make personal scarifies for the those she cares about and loves. Duvessa is quite a selfless wolf, but she does have her downfalls too. She has quite a temper that Aiyana is careful not to upset. When she is mad, Duvessa will mindlessly tare apart anything she care sink her teeth into, whether it be those she cares about or those she hates. She does not like good wolves because she thinks they are just acting fake. Duvessa is somewhat like a rebel.

If you could add more to the appearance and perhaps a bit more to the personality, that'd be great.
