Title: Invert - Accepted
Description: Holding grudges

Invert - April 17, 2005 10:56 PM (GMT)
Name: Invert

Age: around 3 summers

Gender: male

Siblings: Articous; Tamper

Pack: Loner

Positions: none

Appearence: This brute's hue is like a shadow, though when in light, his chest shines brown or crimson from the sun playing tricks with his darkened hue. His orbs are golden and shine white when light tries to pry at it in the darkness. A muscular arctic build frames him, with the tip of his tail ever darker than rest of his ebon body. His pads are large, but have never failed to give him way when in his hunts. He is pruod of his emmense size and pride.

Personality: Invert's personality is so completely opposite of his brothers. He is cruel, full of hate and lies. Perhaps he might have been different if not for his brother, but Invert has a thing with holding grudges forever. Should one soul do an error to him, he shall never forget it, his memory stretches farther than mosts, as well as his intelligence. Those who stumble upon him often see him sitting silently with his orbs covered with their lids, and his auds swiviling to every sound and his maw filtering through all the scents of the world around him. But, unless they are lucky enough to run away, it's normaly the last thing they see. He is merciless, though he normaly has on a charming smile for all to see. He seems sweet and normal, gets to know someone, and then attacks. Somedays he reflects on why he does this, but it's all pushed away so that he may keep focused on finding his hated brother.

History: He reflects upon his life and histroy everyday, replaying it in his head, altering the smallest things, and imagining what might have happened. shall I start from the begining?

Invert was the second born in a litter of four. His brother Articous was the first, then was Invert, then his little sister Tamper, and last the dear little runt who died still and had no need for naming. Articous and Tamper were named first, both after their parents. Tamper after her mother Temperance, and Articous after his father Arctic Councler, though he was simply known as Arctic. The two were both pure white, and the only way to tell them apart easily was that Tamper had a silver tipped tassle. Invert was named because he was the compolete opposite of the two.

His puppyhood was filled with jealousy and mischief. Articous had always been the leader of the group of pups, strong and full of good will, and perhaps the most handsome. Invert often attacked him, but Articous topped him over in the end and laughed at him playfully unaware of how much hurt Invert had wished for him to have. All this was bearable for him, he knew when he was old enough, he could leave behind everythgin and start his own pack and life.

Invert was in shock at what happened next. Articous and Invert left at the same time while Tamper stayed behind. Though they rarely spoke or looked at one another, they helped each other bring down food, and they ate together, both aware that they had left early and that they wern't entirely ready to be on their own. Sometimes they quarreled over the smallest things and wouls seperate, but would always find each other again and travel for a while longer until another dispute.

Finally Invert saw another wolf while wandering around by his self after a fight with his brother, it was the most beautiful fae he had ever seen. The was of silver coat blended in with the silver moonlight and stream she was in, left him completely perplexed. He bolted to her, and they talked for hours until she said she must go and left as abru[tly as he had found her. He sulked after that, vouching to find her and make her his own. He then caught up with Articous, keeping the thoughts of the secret fae to himself. Articous had grown ever more sullen these days, and he was at his peek. He was tall and muscular, and knew nothing other than being what he was. He had not seen another fae since he had left, but he often sensed one near him and he would try to find it but would lose the fae suddenly. Invert couldn't know of his brothers longing for the same dissapearing fae that he loved, but he found out soon enough.

Invert stepped out into the clearing to see the fae he had been tracking night and nights ago. He smiled and started toward her, and thinking her speaking to him, he replied, but then saw a lareg white brute behind her, Articous. He snarled suddenly and lunged at him, but Articous had already seen him and simply moved aside so that Invert went spiraling nto the stream behind him. Invert came out of the cold water, his pride hurt and his heart hurt. The fae and Articous were walking off slowly and laughing, their bodies pressed close to one another. Invert had vowed to get that fae, and he would.

He followed them to the terra that Articous claimed his own, stalking the borders and watching them when he knew they wouldn't expect it. He had come up one morning, and in spite of himself he marvelled how beautiful and crisp the day was, he stood at the brink of a cliff and frowned suddenly as he saw Articous chasing his fae. He saw the fae run onto the ice as she often did, but then everything stopped. He cocked his head and then fell to his belly as he saw her go under. Articous leapt onto the ice as well, scratching furiously at the merciless ice and then staying there, howling, all night. Invert sayed in that one spot as long as Articous stayed on the edge of the forzen waters, and then he saw Articous leave many nights later, head held low and mumbling to himself as he always did.

Invert immediantly bolted to the ice and stayed there whining and cursing all night. He then turned cold, determined to find Articous and kill him. Kill him for killing his fae, this beautiful fae that had turned him down. He felt sweet bitterness creeping into him.

That's what she got for being with him instead of me

He'd kill Articous and he'd kill everyone else that got in his way, but it was hard to track Articous, it seemed he never stopped or ate or anythign, and storms wiped out all signs of him....but now...now he knew that Articous lurked somewhere around here, and his and her vengance would be released, Articous would then feel regret in a new way.
