Description: Is there one yet?

Articous - April 11, 2005 01:43 AM (GMT)
I'm sorry to seem such a bother bringing up the subject again, but is ther an alpha or alphess for the Isa' Fea pack yet. I've been wondering and for some reason had to ask again. Forgive me for being a pest, 'till then I shall wander about again.

well, there were, but from the sounds of it, the Isa'Fea pack will be holding a vote type thing to descide on new ones, since the people who were alphas may be giving those characters up, you know the not enough time hting.

I'd also like to point out that almost half the isa'fea pack hasent been seen in a month or more and most of the rest haven't posted in almost as long.

If anyone hears that there is a new alpha lurking for Isa' Fea, though I'll probally find out in an instant since I am so persistant about this issue, would someone PM me? I would do the same.

We should try and push people to join Isa'Fae. To do that, we're going to need some sort of excitement. Plots? Puppies? Corruption? *sigh* I once had a wolfess in Isa'Fae, and I never found it as interesting as the other packs. Right now, it's basically the "I-don't-fit-anywhere-else" pack. (sorry to those Isa'Faes we mentioned -- just making a point!) I think it may need a bit more personality, and perhaps new Alphas. So, since I have waaaaay too much free time, I made a quick little chart. (see what Organization Class does to me?!)

Problem::: Obviously, there are very few active members in Isa'Fae. They are all great roleplayers, and it's rather sad that we have to see them wait days for replys. Basically, Isa'Fae is a nobody pack. Little Personality to them. I mean, look at it. Din'Deas are brilliant, Amarth are evil, and Skah are kind and welcoming. Isa'Faes are...the leftovers.

Solutions::: There are many, many courses of action, these are just a few I've drawn up -- if you have any more, PM me, and I'll add them. These can be all used, or mis-matched I suppose, to suit your needs.

Idea one: This one is pretty basic. Add more to the description of Isa'Fae, something that'll give them real personality. We have the good, the bad, the smart...why not something like the head-strong? The heroic? The arrogant? The family-oriented? The disabled? The secretive? The dreamers? So many possibilites!

Idea two: In my opinion, this one should be mixed with Idea one. New Alphas. I understand that others have many things to do, but helf the reason Isa'Faes are so inactive is new members don't get in for weeks, therefor excitement is few and far between. Picking newer, more active members would be better.

Idea three: Instead of just having new Alphas, we could make this a major revamp. We could have something break apart the Isa'Faes, and have them slowly form a new pack. Packs don't always last forever, expecially if they aren't properous. This way, people who want a shot at becoming Alpha of a new pack can get a shot at it. There'll probably be a "Dark Age" of sorts, with fighting over positions, and lots of little "mini-packs", or groups of wolves that travel together. Eventually, it'll all sort out into a new pack, with a personality of it's own. The idea of something entirely new, with so many open positions, will definately draw more people.

If we don't do something: If we don't do something, Isa'Fae will eventually erode into a nothing, with one active member or something. Then we have this "blah" pack where no one lives. Also, if we don't have another outlet for newcomers to go into, the other packs will be overcrowded. Skah and Din'Dea are already reaching their limits, and Amarth is doing okay too.

Right -- anyways, sorry for the rambling, but I'd really like to see something done about Isa'Fae. Mods, one of you needs to get with Emily and talk this issue out with her -- I don't want to see the other packs swamped!

I do believe you need to post that in the plots ideas board nebula. I'm sure many would join Isa' fea if there was actually an alpha. I myself am waiting for the mods to issue one, and then I'll join, and I know two of my friends are waiting as well. So I am trying to be paitent in the meantime. I like your plot ideas! Perhaps the mods will consider, but you should think of posting it in plots.
