What is everyones opinion of this dvd?

Good choice of songs?

Which is better, the original or Directors cut?

Too much footage of Nick Mason?


I personally think it is a great dvd with some great choices of songs. The only let down i feel is Mademoiselle Nobbs, but it's not too bad. I think that the version of Saucerful of Secrets is the best there is, it makes the song much more interesting than the Studio version.

I think that the original concert footage is better than the directors cut because it includes more footage of the floyd themselves.

I also think that there is too much footage of Nick in here, but that can be a good thing, you really get to appreciate how good he really is, then of course you get to the famous apple pie incident a very funny part of the film :lol:.


So what does everyone else think of this dvd?

I love this DVD! I particularly enjoy the Director's Cut more because there's more going on and it's more interesting IMO. Especially the aforementioned apple pie crust scene with Nick.

The choice of songs is excellent, with the exception of Mademoiselle Nobs. I mean the idea was good but I never liked Seamus to begin with.

I don't know about the dvd, I still have the vhs I bought when it came out. All songs on it are good to me, ASOS is excellent on this one. It reminds me of when we used to party on the beach.

great dvd i have the directors cut i like how when nick loses one of his drumsticks in one of these days he just grabs another one without missing a beat.

Yeah. That is my favourite part - great reactions. I also love Roger Waters going mental on the gong!! Hilarious!!

i'm amazed by all the gear they used.those massive speakers at the back must have sounded awesome.
