Title: Pink Floyd Poetry

“A Day in the Life”
We had high hopes that this day would not come,
They decided not to bring the boys back home.
The trial was over,
There was nothing but echoes in the streets.
I want to keep talking,
But one of these days I’ll stop.
The show must go on so I hopped on my bike,
I said “Goodbye blue sky and you fat old sun.”
I fell on the thin ice,
Oh I wish you were here.
Arnold Layne helped me up and I gave him some money.
I might have gotten brain damage but I was running out of time.
Outside the wall there was nobody home,
When the tigers broke free I was on the run,
We reached jugband blues and we felt sorrow.
Vera walked in,
“Hey you!” she yelled,” “is there anybody out there?” but I was comfortably numb.
We all had young lust, our blues were gone.
Goodbye cruel world, hello new,
I set the controls for the heart of the sun.
These became the happiest days of our lives.
People tried to welcome us to the machine,
They were just another brick in the wall,
Several species of small furry animals got pick up in the road.
We brought them to Manchester meadows,
They told us saucers full of secrets,
About the Fletcher memorial home.
It was one of my turns to investigate,
I arrived in the flesh and was attacked by sheep,
“Run like hell!” they bleated.
If only I got in, I would have seen mother.
All we have now are empty spaces.
It’s time to head for that great gig in the sky.

Yeah there's a lot of different Floyd sites out there. Well whoever did that really took a lot of time and effort to come up with that.

I remember way back when I first joined PFO there was something like that posted, but it was RS and A New Machine doing it off the top of their heads.

thats pretty cool...I'd like to see someone try to make one with every single song title and have it actually make sense...I know I couldnt

THAT would take hours, maybe even days. You'd really have to sit down in a quiet area and rack your brain for it to make sense. And you would also have to proofread and make sure you have every single song title.
