Green Day fans are good to support them i have a friend that loves pink floyd heck he can play his songs he is 1 of my best friend and i like other bands including and its great to have different friends who like these other bands can tell u thingsd thats how i know lots of bands.

I totally agree. It is great to extend your knowledge of music by learning about different bands as well as your favourites.

Rammstein - awesome! Porcupine Tree, Arena, great bands i.m.o
Amazing at the age of 44 that I have discovered bands like Rammstein - saw them twice last year! Another personal favourite are Rush - if I could only play like those guys.................................................. :(

i totally agree. teaching guitar opened me up to everything. cuz you get kids with so many different music preferences and songs they want to learn that you normally wouldn't learn. its definatly helped me out both musically and guitar skilled-wise.

Porcupine Tree are great! I only have Signify and Deadwing though, both are fantastic! Rush are my 2nd favorite band, I have all of their material on remastered CD from the debut up to Exit... Stage Left.

Lynyrd Skynyrd
quite a few others, but those are the best
and as far as Wolfmother, I have a few of their songs, but they sound too much like a mix between Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath (a "Led Sabbath" possibly?)

Um . . . I don't think many people on the forum will like Green Day and . . . Pink Floyd is a band, not a person!!
