Title: Album(s) Of The Moment

Three Different Ones - November 17, 2006 08:50 AM (GMT)
What album are you either currently listening to, or currently obsessing ove and what's one thing you love about it?

mine is the Beatles' Rubber Soul . I love the harmonies on so many of the songs. I love how John and Paul are maturing as songwriters, and George is coming out as a developing songwriter. I love how it shows the group in transition from the earlier stuff to the later stuff. It's a definite midpoint in their career

now mine is Pink Floyd's Relics compilation

Lately I can't get enough of Rush's 1982 album "Signals". I can't really describe what I feel about it, some of the songs are just so emotional and I always feel happy or begin to feel like I'm being lifted off the ground. Songs that especially mean a lot to me from this album are "Subdivisions", "The Analog Kid", and "The Weapon".

Mine's Rubber Soul again. This is my second time listening to it and it's just as great. Man I love the Beatles

CharadeIAm - November 23, 2006 08:18 AM (GMT)
lately for me it's been a combo of Ganging Up on the Sun and Lost and Gone Forever by Guster

John Lennon & Yoko Ono - Some Time In New York City

The songs may be dated, but they're great

currently "Wild Orchids"-Steve Hackett-Genesis guitarist's latest solo effort, argueably the most under-rated guitarist around, he hovers in the Steve Howe, Robert Fripp, Adrian Belew stratosphere...

Tarantula - March 12, 2007 08:03 PM (GMT)
Listening a lot to Neil Young's Zuma and After the Goldrush (which I already heard a couple of hundred times before   )
Currently overplaying Air's Moon Safari and The Virgin Suicides too.
And Meddle and Animals ...
