Roots and Origins
Her origins and roots traces way towards the nobility of the Calendaes. The youngest of the brood of four, and the only daughter of her father, Qualis the (previous) Commander of the Calendaen Knights and Marquess of the House of Calendae.
Her father was the bestfriend and adviser to the High Seat of the House of Calendae. Aele's mother was Lady Marquess Ezelea who was from one of the branch families of the House of Calendae. Her beauty was flawless that every single male would had the urge to court her and be his wife... unfortunately they were all too late for Ezelea loved Aele's father deeply.
Their marriage was simple, yet the location they agreed was far from simple. They had their wedding overlooking the eastern sea, by the beaches of Maloren.
They started building their family from all the love they could give each other. A year after their marriage, Aele's eldest brother was born, he was named, Cadwallader. A few years later Cadwallader was then followed by two more boys, Altair, & Nerva.
Lady Marquess Ezelea grew depressed, that she has not given birth to a single daughter. Qualis was rather bothered by this, that he gave an offering to the goddess, Lelahiah at the heart of the Calendaen Rainforest, south of the Haven. He offered one of his favored calfs, in exchange for her wife's dream and his too... a daughter.
The calf disappeared, as it's shaped turned into a young lady, clothed in white, it was an aparition... it was Lelahiah herself. She gave her answer that Lady Marquess Ezelea would have her daughter.
A month after Qualis' offering to the goddess of birth, Lelahiah. Lady Marquess Ezelea gave birth to a healthy young girl, She was named Lelahiah, after the goddess of birth.
Lelahiah, as she was named by her parents grew up into a fine lady, being the favorite nephew of the High Seat of the House of Calendae. Unfortunately, she went missing just before her 16th birthday.
Everyone from the House of Calendae looked for her, even search parties were sent out to look for her. Devastated from the event, her mother died from depression. Lelahiah's father, Qualis and brother, Nemo died a year later during their search in Ghayth, they were ambushed by paid assassins. Continuing their pledge to their parents the Earl Cadmus together with Lord Nerva has not given up yet from searching up to this very day... to find Lelahiah.
*She was nabbed by one of the rogues from Olencia. And was rescued by Pen, finding her without a knowledge of who she was.

Appearance
Elven ancestry makes for beauty, as what Aele displays. She is a radiant young woman who stands at five foot six, with layered chocolate brown hair that reaches her waist. She has a fair complexion. Her eyes may look like she is drowsy when viewed from certain angles, framed with long curling lashes. Her body is well-toned and curvy, main reason why she is quite famous with the young men of downtown Olencia. She wears dangling earrings on both earlobes.
Aele's work clothes dandy fitted according to Pen's orders, so she could attract customers. Since Pen was the boss, she couldn't do anything about it, because he provides her lodging and salary. She wore a white fitted shirt with short sleeves and frills on its hem-line. Over it is fitted light pink spahetti strapped apron. Below she wore a black knee-length skirt with a prancing pony embedded its satin cloth. For her shoes... something classy as ordered by Pen himself, black strapped stilettos.
When not at work she would walk around in something clean and decent, like "non-fitted" outfits, yet had this sense of style. Most of her clothes are provided by Pen himself.

Strengths
- Even though not a fighter or even a warrior, Aele has the habit of concealing several weapons within her clothes. From knives to the tiniest of all weapons; a needle.
- One of her best strengths is her ability to squeeze up much information from her customers and friends, somewhat like an interrogation process; only milder. With this ablity she becomes a great asset to Pen.
- Aele possesses the ability to heal small injuries using a small amount of magic. By placing her palm over an injured person's wound she can heal them with much ease.
- The Prancing Pony has been famous not just because of the rum and brandy being sold to people, but because of Aele's knowledge on medicinal herbs, concoctions and even medicine. She was running the Prancing Pony also as a hospital.
- Aele is also a good cook. Some say her dishes can cure colds and flu.
Weakness
- Softy. This is Aele's largest weak point. In some situations when she couldn't handle the customers she sometimes grab help from Pen, Markoj and even from one of the regulars.
- Having such a body that anyone would drool for, she's the usual and common target of perverts ((eyes Penril)).
- Her memories... everytime she sees something familiar from her previous life, an unbearble migrane kicks in, giving her bits and pieces of flashbacks from her other life as Lelahiah of the House of Calendae.
- She can't disobey Pen's orders, what Pen's says, she follows..
- Also, her weakness is Penril, the other side of Pen. She is deeply in love with him.
- Has low tolerance to alcohol.
- When drunk, a split personality activates making Prancing Pony's customers and even regulars drool even more and some of them scared. She becomes more of a dominatrix when she gets drowned with alcohol.

Magic
Aele's magic ability of healing was the main reason why Olencian Rogues kidnapped her two years ago. She acquired her ability from Lelahiah's blessings when she was born.
When she lost her memory, her ability to heal larger wounds were put to a halt. The knowledge was sealed deep inside her brain.
Her healing ability was once again awoken when Pen arrived home with a few cuts, this is when she found out that Pen was actually the Ablest of Salyers, Penril Tanith. At this present date, she could only cure small wounds and injuries using a small part of her mental energy.

Personality
What is common about Lelahiah and Aele is their personality.
Soft-hearted, courteous and mild-mannered. This are the qualities she has. Also Aele has the tendencies of serving others first before herself, in which she believes, "More for others, less for self." That's why she's always the talk in the marketplaces and even downtown Olencia.
At work she puts on another personality, of someone who doesn't needs help with a strong will, although she has been having a hard time taking her stand.

History
As told by an Olenican Rogue being interrogated by Lady Lelahiah's brother:
The plan was fool-proof, during Lady Lelahiah's stroll by the haven we would assasinate her guards. And nab her... Yeah damn that was great we executed it as easy as 1 2 3. She would fetch for a high price if we extracted her healing powers and placed it on a *E'Aeazuria Jewel.
It was all good, but those bastard Slayers were in the way. The time we were about to reach Olencia they ambushed our caravan. The Lady was taken away from us by some darn fellow, I didn't see him because he was wearing a black and red cloak and disappeared beyond the horizon.
I don't know how they knew about our cargo.

An excerpt from Aele's Journal, eight months ago::
When I regained consciousness, I first saw this radiant being. He has intriguing eyes of maple colour that reminds me of the fallen leaves of October. He was like any woman's dream, but for me he was like my knight in shining armor. Then after that I passed out from this burning pain that binds me.
The next thing I knew I was inside this room. The bed I was lying on was beside a moist window, and outside... outside was snowing. Then I felt my head twitch causing me to damp my fingers to my forehead. And I felt bandages... wrapped around my head.
"What happened to me?" Those were my first words at that time.
At first I try to recall things way back from that incident, but I couldn't... even open up things from before. But as it seems, my memories had been trapped inside. Every time I try to recall it even more, my brain twitched together with this burning pain.
Before I could pass out from the excruciating pain, the door opened and a man rushed in. He broke my fall and held me lightly, cushioned by his warm arms. His eyes were familiar; it was those same eyes from before. Then suddenly my life flashed before me… but it ended to that part where I first saw this person just in front of me. Aside from that, I couldn’t remember anything before that… Then it came to me,
“Who am I?”
Having not a single knowledge of who I really am, I started panicking on my bed. But yet he just calmed me down… It took me time to calm me down, thats when he introduced himself,
"My name's Pen, the owner of this inn. So please calm down..."
At that point my eyes were in direct contact with his, and all my worries were gone, it was like a magic spell has been enchanted over me.
===
A few days passed, I regained only part of my memory (around 4% to 5% of the whole thing), but still it didn't help a lot. A person having not a single idea who she is was the worst. And in due time my injuries were healed. To repay the man who took me in, I started working as the barmaid of his inn, The Prancing Pony.
On my 1st day as the barmaid, I already felt a dozen malicious eyes staring at me, divesting what's inside my clothes. That feeling just creeped me out, but still I had to stand my ground and act as if they weren't doing so. Then there came a point one approached me while I was preparing a cocktail, he then asked my name.
Then there it was... I couldn't speak, as if my tongue was caught in a twist, I still had no idea who I am, nor what my name really is.
"Aele Blanchard, that's her name."
The voice came from behind me that I quickly looked around, and he was there, the man who took me in, the manager of the inn, Pen. Again he saved me from the prowling eyes of these bastard customers.
But then it striked in me, was that my real name?
But when I approached him and asked, he just gave me a bottle of Ale and scratched his head with a quaint smile. Puzzled I then examined the bottle of Ale, then there it was... Blanchard, Quality 17 year old Ale. It was a little annoying that he gave me a nameout of the blue, and worse, it eventually came from a bottle of Ale.
And thus, I was called Aele Blanchard of the Prancing Pony.
---
Three months passed by, more and more people had already come by and visited us more often. From travellers and even those who are sick and less fortunate. I was now working as both the barmaid and chef, although I didn't take in any salary, for the lodging was enough for me.
During those days, Pen was away... his only statement was he was headed for Ghayth. And another reason was meeting an old friend there.
Twelve moons later on a stormy eve, just when I was about to close the Prancing Pony. But before I could close the main door, a man wearing tattered robes crashed towards me. The impact of our bodies sent us both crashing towards the moistened floor.
I regained consciousness immediately, only to find this man out cold with his face buried deep on my breasts. Embarassed and insulted by this disgraceful act I was about to kick him... but stopped because of the blood that was dripping from his forehead. He was injured and unconscious.
After closer inspection... his face... was familiar... it was Pen, the innkeper.
That night I brought him to his room, and nursed his injuries... with some herbs that I harvested from the garden. A few days passed, and as it seemed he just got from bad to worse, the wound on his abdomen wasn't sealing... it was the work of poison.
Worried, I knew I had to do something or else I'd lose this person who saved my life... Then there was a flashback, inside that important piece of memory was how to heal someone with the gift given to me by a goddess. My hands trembled, and without hesitation my hand hovered over the wound as if it was like I knew already what to do.
Concentrating on my hand, light flashed as it started to cure the wound, Pen's swollen open injury started to close. Until finally the wound was gone.
For a week, Pen rested on his bed. While I did all the work for that time. It was hard of course, working alone (of course I also had a little help during the day from Markoj, Pen's errand boy).
But during that week, Pen approached me one afternoon... He whispered words to my ear, and he said,
"I'll help you uncover you past... and teach you how to control your ability."
With these my eyes grew wide and tears fell from my eyes. I was so happy to hear those from someone who gave his life for me during that incident with the Olencian Rogues.
---
Right now, I'm happy to be working at the Prancing Pony, and doing what I can to help both Pen, my manager and Penril Tanith, the slayer...
I'm almost there, just a little more though.
You'll be considered as my apprentice then. :3
I can't find anything wrong, but I turn to Overlords for confirmation.
*huggles*
Yay, I finally had a chance to read this...
I like it, except I'm a bit... thrown off... by your description of what your character wears. I don't think stilettos even exist in Olencia... etc. ;)
