Please make sure you include all that has been said or is known about the character! You do not have to ask permission to play these characters, just create a biography matching all the description in this post and make sure your name matches as well! Once a person has taken one of these characters, please mark off the character on your list!

Sorry I'm a little late posting this, I just was too lazy to look through Rhys' bio and write out all eight of the sister's names. I'm not sure any of the sisters would be of interest to play, except possibly Sian, because they're pretty young. I don't NEED anyone to be a stable hand or trainer (I can just have them be a nondescript rabble of generally hardworking and law-abiding folk and write them myself), but if anyone wants to be one, be my guest!


Ian Horsehand of Marlas (Dragon Horse Farm)
+Rhys' father; horse breeder, trainer, and merchant since birth, like all of his forefathers
+Middle-aged. His oldest daughter is seventeen, and he wasn't all that young when he married
+A bit of a dreamer, a bit of a poet
+Manages the breeding operation at Dragon Horse Farms, but lets Rhys manage everything else
+Hopeful the Dragon Horses will get the Farm noticed by a higher house
+Family man. Loves all of his nine daughters immensely, even if he occasionally wonders at the probability-defying number of them.

Gwyn Horsehand of Marlas (Dragon Horse Farm)
+Rhy's mother; practical, down-to-earth, former barmaid but now a full-time mother
+Middle-aged. Maybe a year or two older than Ian (Tsuko stated in his bio that in Marlas, women often marry younger men), but the age difference isn't great.
+Very social, makes a point of keeping her friends and connections in Marlas proper (you never know when they might come in handy), understands the power of networking but at the same time is genuinely friendly and kind
+Enjoys being a mother. She wouldn't trade her girls for the world, and she adores her husband.
+Isn't too involved with the horses. Perhaps she's secretly frightened of them?


Sian Horsehand of Marlas (Dragon Horse Farm)
+Rhys' next-youngest sister
+16 years old, pretty
+Likes boys, looks forward to marriage, a bit of a flirt, but was raised right and is a lady (i.e. not a total hussy...just sixteen and pretty)
+Prefers city life to country life, spends the time at the Horse Fair socializing with city boys
+Frequently has suitors over, but her parents won't hear her talk of marriage for at least another year.
+Likes horses, but isn't crazy about them.

+Nine years old
+Loves clothes. Gwyn is asking around for a good seamstress who would want an apprentice in a few years so Ninh will have a livlihood she enjoys.

+Twins, third and fourth oldest Horsehand girls (Tancy is older by three minutes)
+Fifteen years old AT MOST. Perhaps fourteen.

+The three oldest aren't horse-crazy. Uris we don't know about yet...she's only four, after all.

+Ian's good friend, partner, and peer. Possibly was a stablehand when Ian was taking over, possibly he was Ian's first promotion.
+Likes Rhys, has known her since she was little and has a good working relationship with her. Doesn't resent her position of authority, and thinks she does a good job.
+Maybe he's married...but he does live at Dragon Horse Farm, and his wife doesn't, if he has a wife. It's also possible he has a family, but they don't live there, either. It's not that the Horsehand family doesn't know about them, it's just that I haven't put too much thought into Jamus, and if anyone wants to play him, I'll be amicable to any ideas and will alter the Horsehands' knowledge of him accordingly.
