I didn't think ahead to the actual planning. How about war after the wedding. Real, big scale, everyone is affected war.

War in what sort of way? House against House, certain houses vs all the Houses, the peasants against the nobles... all the Houses against the King....

Plus, we'd need something to start off the war, since we can't just have a huge war for no good reason. And if the Houses are involved, then the High Seats would have to give their input, and all that fun stuff.

Not trying to burst everyone's bubble, just forcing them to be creative. :)

When the king dies... if he dies... Penril's coronation is not well liked and a number of houses back another to try and take it?

The formal re-introduction of the prince would be perfect.

Yeah, I love it. Nobles would become disgruntled. Peasants might start to hope for better lives (just to have their hopes dashed on the rocks). And the crime rate might go down (might).

Iffalna will be there because if Penril is getting coronated, the Slayers need a representative and Iffalna sure as heck won't miss Penril's coronation. He could get killed at those things. And if anyone is going to be killing Penril anytime soon, it will be Ifflana.

And that means Blyth will be dragged along, most likely. Because Iffalna is his Master and whatnot.

Rhys could be there on business. Goodness only knows what trouble she would get into. She'd probably love whatever trouble she got into, too. Rhys SERIOUSLY needs some adventure, or she'll go nuts.
