Hi everyone,
I don't know how the news coverage has been nationally (or internationally), but the Seattle Area was hit by a severe storm last Friday. Seattle itself suffered minimal damage, but I had gone home for the holidays. My area is rural, and we're in the foothills, hence it was one of the hardest hit areas in the region, and we're still without power or (you guessed it) internet. My family is luckier than most, we have a small generator so we can work our well and have a bit of heat, but it's still rough going and estimates are saying we MIGHT have power back by Christmas. Personally, my money is on next Wednesday, and goodness only knows when we'll get internet back, but I'll be back at school on New Year's day, and who knows, I may be pleasantly surprised.
Blyth, Pen, I am SO very sorry I haven't gotten back to you. I'll hammer out some quick responses right now...They won't be top quality, but they'll be something for you to work with. I'm horribly sorry I haven't been able to get into town earlier, but with storm damage and whatnot, the roads have been closed.

Okay, maybe I was a wee bit alarmist, but they were saying Christmas, and the roads still aren't all the way cleared, but hey, I have INTERNET!!!
So I'm back. I'll be posting throughout the day...Washing machine is finally back up, so I'll be doing lots of laundry! YIPPEE!
