Title: The Wedding Of Dhoom
Description: My son is getting married!

Tsuko Theras - November 29, 2006 12:18 AM (GMT)
Unfortunately, poor Endarron is going to have a sucky wedding. Because SOMEONE(S) WILL HAVE TO DIE!!!!!

Or, at least, that's what I plan to happen.

But, we need to sort out a few issues first.

For one, who is going to die? Options include: my son, my nephew who is in line for High Seat of House Marlas who is also getting married, one of the brides, some random stranger... me?!?

Most interesting option would probably be my nephew, because as of now he's the only eligible heir on the Marlas family tree... if he died, we'd have to go on an HeirHunt ™, starting with like fourth cousins or something. Which might provide more interesting plotting opportunities.

For two, who all is attending? I'm sure most of you could find some exucse. Spy-y types could be "caterers", peasants could be... I dunno... wandering about? And important dignitaries will probably be invited too. Or people standing in for important dignitaries.

Well anyway. C'mon, let's talk :)

Oriana Lark - November 29, 2006 12:19 AM (GMT)
Should we haul the King off to the wedding???

He might just send his best wishes... -_-

Silva Lothair - November 29, 2006 01:17 AM (GMT)
I don't like weddings. But I'll be there. :ph43r:

Seyira Vivienne - November 29, 2006 02:01 AM (GMT)
I wish I could find a way to be there.... sounds like fun. :(

Must find out way to atten wedding. :ph43r:

Blyth Snowstar - November 29, 2006 02:29 AM (GMT)
Hmm... wedding. Sounds good. I'll be wearing my good clothes.

Rhys Horsehand - November 30, 2006 01:37 AM (GMT)
Rhys will be delighted. She'll even have a nice dress, too!

I vote for the nephew dying. An heir-hunt could turn up interesting results, and cause some yummy political drama.

Blyth Snowstar - November 30, 2006 02:36 AM (GMT)
Might miss the wedding since other plots are in the making. I will try to make it though. Anyone have ideas on what to wear?

Penril Tanith - November 30, 2006 04:27 AM (GMT)
I'll send Blue Wine for the newlyweds! (B

Iffalna Briarose - November 30, 2006 04:47 AM (GMT)
I don't know why Iffalna would be there, but if you can find a reason for her to get an invite (maybe Iffalna or the Slayer Order did Tsuko a favor in the past?), I'm sure she'd have a plant representing fertility she could give the newlyweds. Iffalna loves weddings. And that way, if Blyth is her apprentice, he could most definitely go, either attatched to Iffalna or not.

Blyth Snowstar - November 30, 2006 11:16 PM (GMT)
I think is she meets me soon enough, Iffalna will be my escort. Yes, she will need to borrow some of my clothes.

Tsuko Theras - December 1, 2006 03:04 AM (GMT)
Continuity ain't a problem with me, you can teleport through the time-space continuum if you wish (B

Tsuko isn't so fond of Slayers though (nothing personal, just shares the general mistrust of magic-users), so it might even be better if Blyth brings Iffy (or gives the appearance of bringing Iffy) than the other way around.

I like the idea of my nephew dying. It would be politially fun :D

Of course, my youngest sister is scheduled to have a boy in a year and another in three, but she doesn't know that yet *-*

Perhaps we can render her infertile ;) (or I could just change the genders of the children-to-be over to female :P)

Blyth Snowstar - December 1, 2006 03:06 AM (GMT)
Wonderful. Looks like you have a handsome young stud as a date then Iffalna. I'll try not to outshine you too much.

Tsuko Theras - December 1, 2006 03:10 AM (GMT)
Yikes, I just say that according to my family tree there are in fact more members of House Marlas who would currently be in line for succession (I have a 3-year-old nephew on top of the two that will be born :P).

Hmm. Back to square one, I guess :/

Alternatively, we can play the fun game GIVE THE NEPHEWS OF TSUKO A SEX CHANGE!!!!!!! XD

Blyth Snowstar - December 1, 2006 03:24 AM (GMT)
Ahh. Changing plans to make another story continuous is not something that I would recommend. Make the new story fit the old information unless it isnt complete yet. Then the old information could change some but I think you should try to keep the first thing you think up rather than molding the information to make a good story. Truthful information is better and may make a better play in the long run.

Enderron Kelesi - December 4, 2006 02:46 AM (GMT)
I, son of House Marlas, declare my wedding may now begin.

Valandil Shadowdeath - December 4, 2006 09:24 PM (GMT)
I would be willing to cme, proabbly as a spy/scout for my new mistress...*if* that rp ever finishes :P

Seyira Vivienne - December 4, 2006 10:06 PM (GMT)
=O

She's MY mistress! Don't steal her from me!

Enderron Kelesi - December 4, 2006 11:26 PM (GMT)
Not sure I'm comfortable with all these assassins at my wedding. Please at least PM me if you plan to be killing me. Or my cousin for that matter, I'm sure he would like to know too.

Seyira Vivienne - December 6, 2006 11:06 PM (GMT)
Dear, I'm not an assasin, I'm a spy.

Although, technically, I will kill if I'm forced to.

Tsuko Theras - December 7, 2006 02:21 AM (GMT)
A note for all attendees: it's probably not my son's wedding you're going to be "attending". Rather, you're here to see my nephew being married off... but I wanted my son to have a good wedding, so I scheduled it at the same time so there'd be plenty of attendees :D

Could everyone who wants to attend give an official RSVP below? I'd like to know who's coming and in what capacity, so that I know who I should notice and who I shouldn't (for instance, if you're a noble or representative from one I'd probably greet you or at least acknowledge your presence, while if you're a servant or spy posing as one I will probably completely ignore you ^_^)

Silva Lothair - December 7, 2006 07:26 AM (GMT)
The High Seat of Calandae sends his greetings and thanks you for the invitation. He is obliged to attend the wedding of Enderron Kelesi, son of Tsuko Theras. Expect him to arrive with Lady Silfene on the specified time and date, at the specified place.

Till then, and may the Suns favor you.

----------
:look

Valandil Shadowdeath - December 7, 2006 03:04 PM (GMT)
I will be attending as a bodyguard/spy with or without a certain lady's maid. I have no plans of assassination at this time. Thanks for your concern -.-'.

Seyira Vivienne - December 8, 2006 12:42 PM (GMT)
I'll have to check with my mistress on that one, but I will be coming. :D

Blyth Snowstar - December 8, 2006 09:41 PM (GMT)
Attending.

Iffalna Briarose - December 23, 2006 10:00 PM (GMT)
Watch out for Blyth's crazy old aunt from the Barrier! How he got stuck babysitting her, the world may never know! :P

ETA: I vote for "give Tsuko's nephews a sex-change". Yummy political drama= teh fun. But they're Tsuko's nephews and all, so he can just ignore me and I won't mind a bit.

Rhys Horsehand - December 24, 2006 02:52 AM (GMT)
Rhys Horsehand will most certainly be in attendance as a horse-handler. She'll even do her hair nicely and wear a proper dress for the occasion!

Oriana Lark - December 28, 2006 03:54 PM (GMT)
Pretty sure I thought we were being all cool and weird and spelling "doom" like "dhoom" just for kicks. Turns out I was just imagining it, so our banners says "dhoom." :errr:

:ws:

Seyira Vivienne - December 28, 2006 04:11 PM (GMT)
Well, you know what? It looks cooler. *nods*

So you can keep it.

Tsuko Theras - December 28, 2006 05:27 PM (GMT)
I have changed the name of the thread to match the spelling of dhoom ^_^

Seyira Vivienne - January 6, 2007 03:23 AM (GMT)
Soooo.....is the wedding on now?

Enderron Kelesi - January 6, 2007 03:29 AM (GMT)
Since I am one of the grooms, I say that the wedding will have to wait for maybe two weeks. Silva is just a bit early. In game though, weeks could amount to only days.

Seyira Vivienne - January 6, 2007 03:32 AM (GMT)
Ah ha, gotcha.

'Cept, I got finals in two weeks. x.x Stupid finals.

Oh well, I'll live.

Blyth Snowstar - January 6, 2007 10:15 PM (GMT)
Well I've got a show (Pygmalion) in three weeks on Saturday. Perhaps we could start next month??

Khira Mayada - January 7, 2007 02:26 PM (GMT)
Since this hasn't started yet, Khira Mayada will attend with her parents. If I still can. :look

Tsuko Theras - January 7, 2007 04:46 PM (GMT)
Oh yes. Invitations won't close officially until the wedding starts, and even then I'm sure you could sneak in if you want ^_^

Altariel Katrei - January 9, 2007 12:10 AM (GMT)
The High Seat of Ghayth will be coming. Along with Seyira and Valandil.

Tsuko Theras - January 9, 2007 01:32 AM (GMT)
This is going to be some shindig XD

Heck, I wonder why the assassin is actually aiming for my nephew with all the High Seats present. Hrm... more plottiness! (B

Sevejar Locke - January 9, 2007 01:45 AM (GMT)
I wonder who's gonna be the actual assassin... Yeah, yeah, the irony of me saying that's probably priceless, but whatever. =P

Should there be a thread for that, by the way?

Valandil Shadowdeath - January 9, 2007 03:25 AM (GMT)
lol i didnt know..is it u then?

Sevejar Locke - January 9, 2007 12:58 PM (GMT)
Could be. That's what I'm asking, though; who's gonna be the actual murderer?
