Buffy walked into the cafe. The sun was shining and it was a beautiful summer day. She ordered her iced coffee and sat down at her seat, waiting for her friends to come. She was supposed to meet Elizabeth, Giles' daughter here.

Elizabeth walked into the cafe to meet Buffy and sat and said, "Hey Buff! Sorry I'm a little late, got caught up."

She got up and ordered the same thing Buffy ordered, an Iced Coffee. She thanked the woman at the counter with a small smile and sat back down.

"Oh, hi! It's okay Elizabeth, I wasn't waiting for long anyway." She looked around, taking sips of her drink.

"So, you off to school soon?"

"Yea, in a couple minutes. School starting time is early this year." Elizabeth said. She had a slight scowl on her face, but a minute later lit up again and said, "It doesn't matter, because school is fun! I just don't like waking up early."

Buffy took a small yawn and said, "Yea, I know what you mean. Well, you should get off to school then. I wouldn't want to make you late."

"Yea, okay Buffy. See you later!!" Elizabeth grabed her half-finished drink and walked outside, back-pack on her shoulder.

Buffy looked around, sighing and tapping the sides of her cup. She took another sip, and threw the finished drink in the trash, getting ready to get up and leave.

As he was entering he bumped into Buffy- "Oh hi Buff". Oz, looking around nervously.
He hadn't seen her in awhile.

Oz brushed past Buffy and approached the county.
He could tell Buffy was about to talk and he wasn't ready to answer her questions so he said- "man am I thirsty"
