With the coming of Lustria, White Dwarf published rules for using Amazon allies on your lizardmen armies, I personally think that the Amazon priestess its not only a beautiful model but has a deadly arsenal of magic powers.

Which issue of White Dward was this? I'm not sure if I have it, I probably don't :( I think I need a subscription.
These amazon allies, are they like the amazon women it mentions in the army book? If so it sounds like a neat idea, i've wondered before what they would be like.

They are warrior women ho act in skirmish formations, and they can have cavalry aswell, however probably their best weapon its the Lore Of The Serpent wich is exclusive for the Amazon priestess and can be a very deadly allie in the battle field.

In the Uk one we only got rules for the priestess :( But still, good rules!

there are also rules for the troops, in the next WD issue after the priestess rules, anyhow did you finded those rules useful and nasty? :rolleyes:

I think the amazon priestess rules are very imbalanced, they are the only heroe choice to be a lv 3 wizard.

Aren't the amazons supposed to be hunting skinks&stuff?
Thus making it rather hard to have them in the same army as the lizardmen.
