Title: The 5 Slann Of The Second Generation.
Description: Does someone know them all?
LordMazdamundi - January 13, 2006 08:28 PM (GMT)
I believe I know of three at the moment, and I'm trying to find out the remaining two. They are said to rule the five greatest temple cities.
City - Slann
Hexoatl - Mazdamundi
Tlaxtlan -
Xlanhuapec -
Itza - Adohi-Tehga
Zlatlan - Xuaxamul
My main source was the 5th edition army book. I am looking for more. Does someone perhaps have another source than the two army books? I'm very interested in the stories.

I have no Idea, kroak used to rule itza, so maybe it says in some fluff somewhere who his succesor is?
LordMazdamundi - January 14, 2006 03:52 PM (GMT)
That's what I'm trying to find out indeed, and I think I succeeded in that, it should be Lord Xltep. Armybuiler knows this slann too as a special character.
On a sidenote, there should be a special list somewhere, sacred host of Itza or something I believe, which is an unofficial list or something I think. Does anyone know where to get it?
Onisuzume - January 14, 2006 07:09 PM (GMT)
There's also a Slann called Teheqela, though the source does not mention it's generation nor it's city.
Big Ned - January 14, 2006 11:07 PM (GMT)
In the 6th ed army book they mention Adohi-Tehga of Tlaxtlan on p.19
BTW Lord Xltep is a third generation Slann... not a second
LordMazdamundi - January 15, 2006 11:03 AM (GMT)
Hmm then I assume it will be Adohi-Tehga indeed, thank you BN, I'll look into my armybook when I get to it.
And about Xltep, well yes but I wasn't sure anymore.
EDIT: you were right, it does say so.
philleehellphia - January 29, 2006 10:02 AM (GMT)
Well you can only assume who they are of course, unless some book-source has it somewhere. Unfortunately there aren't any sources that I own that show a 2nd Generation Slann at Xlanhaupec, and the only Slann I know at Itza are already mentioned as non 2nd generation Slanns.

Huh?
Since when?
Where did you hear that?
Shadow - February 13, 2006 01:30 PM (GMT)
Isn't Zaltan in the southlands because in the 6th edition it says they dont have any slann older than 4th generation.
LordMazdamundi - February 13, 2006 03:05 PM (GMT)
The armies on itself don't, but it is also said that the five remaining 2nd generation slann are divided over the five largest remaining temple cities, and Zlatlan is one of them.
Huanloq-the brain-burned-skink - February 15, 2006 05:51 PM (GMT)
I dont remember where Adohi-Tehga comes from, but I know that Itza has no slann of the 2nd generation, Xltep rules it.
LordMazdamundi - February 15, 2006 07:31 PM (GMT)
Well it would be strange that there wouldn't be a 2nd generation slann leading the city while Games Workshop says the 5 remaining 2nd gen slann rule the 5 big temple cities.

kroxigor01 - September 16, 2006 04:36 AM (GMT)

Little Skink - September 16, 2006 12:37 PM (GMT)
No. You can only use 4th Gen slaans.
Tenqchicc - March 1, 2008 04:15 PM (GMT)
Page 19 of the Lizardman Army Book - talking about the Great Temple of Tlazcotl in Tlaxtlan - "And so did impassive Lord Tlazcotl raise the shrine-spire atop his greatest temple, wherein resides the great Adohi-Tehga, his devoted Mage-Priest of the Second Spawning. So it was then, as it is now and evermore."
Adohi-Tehga definitely lives in Tlaxtlan.
White Dwarf 282, in the article Ibn Jellaba's expedition to Zlatlan it mentions that the reigning mage-priest of the city is named Lord Xuaxamul, but it doesn't say what generation he is.
