I had read Kristen's story first, and I thought Doc B was disturbing enough. However, I just got through reading Flaming Trail's stories about Jack Merridew, and he makes Doc B look tame in comparison. Also, Doc B was easy to sympathise with towards the end - but Jack Merridew was evil from the minute he was born. In fact, he probably took delight at torturing his twin and his mother from when he was in the womb.
I'm afraid I can't comment. I've never really seen the point of Fan Fics. Obviously if you like writing them then that's fair enough, but most people (myself included) can't write for toffee.
I agree! I mean, Jack seemed to be evil from the minute he was born - but Doc B at least had a reason for why he turned evil. I mean, it's still inexcusable - but it does put him in a much more sympathetic light.
