Title: 1985a Biff' Family
Description: Biff's kids

I wonder what would've happened if Biff had kids with Lorraine. I wonder why Biff took so long to eliminate George McFly after winning his fortune
Madstunts - May 6, 2006 12:16 AM (GMT)
I suppose he had to get into a position where he had accumulated enough power to make the police "look the other way" when he murdered George.
You have some great questions!
Futureboy - May 10, 2006 03:32 AM (GMT)
I agree, he had to have enough power to "own the police." Not being terribly fond of kids and semingly only keeping Loraine as trophy I doubt he would have had more kids with Lorain. In the TP 2015 however he is a grandfather to Griff so somewhere along the line he did indeed have kids who in turn had kids. The Tannen family line is the most curious because of their attitude towards women and people in general. None are even remotely likeable other than the strangely friendly TP 1985 Biff. From Biff's Great Grandfather Bufford to Biff's grandson Griff it just seems funny to think they had had kids.
Time Travel Fanatic - May 11, 2006 03:35 PM (GMT)
I always figured that they didn't have Lorraine and Biff have any kids in order to avoid the ethical dilema of saying "Well, if you destroy this timeline, you will destroy these lives as well."
I just think they didn't want to go there.

Hmmmmmmm, interesting thoughts

I expect Biff-A's kids were probably the same (same people, that is! Not same personalities) as Biff's kids, since there is even an alternative version of Einstien in the A-timeline. Biff-A probably saw all the kids though as "my kids" and "your kids", as opposed to "our kids" (which many stepfamily do consider their kids as, even if they are not biologically). Marty-A's stepsiblings were probably treated a lot better than he, Dave-A and Linda-A were.
But if Biff-A and Lorraine-A did have a kid, who would (s)he take after more? I'd probably say Lorraine-A - I can't really imagine Biff-A having much involvement in child-rearing, so the child would probably see his/her mother more often than his/her father.
bttf44 - September 22, 2006 07:29 PM (GMT)
I always thought Marty-A was pretty lucky to spend most of his life in boarding schools. Then, that way, he wasn't always subjected to Biff-A's abuse. I would say that Lorraine-A got the worst end of the deal - because she had to put up with Biff-A all the time.

that is true what im wondering is how jennifer handled it even tohugh she was alseep during A 1985 i think maybe she could have gotten restless and started looking for marty and maybe went to the biff pleasure pardise and got in troble with biff and couldent find marty anywhere! or maybe she looked for doc anyway i always though that she wasent realy sleeping but looking for marty and doc instead !

I reckon George-A probably had a worse deal, what with being dead and having his widow stolen and everything! :)

Hey, that gives me an idea for a fanfic story. I did do one on Einstein, just for fun. I could maybe do a more serious story on what happens when Jennifer wakes up - then when she sees the world changing around her. Then she falls back asleep, before Marty gets her.

omg that would be awsome!

Your question about Biff having kids made me think of somthing I never thought of before: in
the alternate LP 1985, the documentary in the Biff museum says that he was married twice before he married Lorriane. Do you suppose he had children from either of those marriages? It seems to be implied that Biff was married to Marylin Monroe at some point. I can't imagine would THAT kid would be like! :docs2:
needles1987 - July 5, 2007 11:31 PM (GMT)
I don't think Biff had any kids with Lorraine. I don't think he had any of his own in that timeline, which was probably the only thing I like about the biffhorrific world.

If you accept The Animated Series as canon - or, at least, partially canon - then Biff has a son named Biff Jr, who would bully Verne. I don't, though, because Biff Jr would be too young to be able to have Griff in 1996. Also, I don't like the whole "Biff Jr" idea. I mean, you do have good names in Cliff and Jiff to use. I did recently borrow the name Ziff from The Animated Series, and had him be Griff's son.
Anyway, if this was the case, then Biff Jr probably wouldn't be born in the Biffhorrific reality.
needles1987 - July 27, 2007 01:08 PM (GMT)
I think Biff Jr. was originally as old as Marty.
bttf44 - July 27, 2007 03:02 PM (GMT)
Yeah, he probably was, in the early script of Part II. Even though, I would imagine him being closer to Dave's age, since Dave was the geeky type who would be more likely to be bullied by a Tannen. Initially, I only intended on Biff having one son named Cliff - who would be Dave's bully. When I was working on The Next Generation with Jennifer McFly, though, she had suggested a Miff Tannen being around the age of Marty. So that's how Miff Tannen came about, and he becomes the father of Bill Tannen - who was the good Tannen in 2015.
needles1987 - July 27, 2007 06:01 PM (GMT)
The animated series takes place in 1991, so he would be too young to father Griff. However, in 1985, Biff Jr's age can range anywhere from 8 to 28.
bttf44 - July 27, 2007 06:47 PM (GMT)
Right, exactly. Some people believe he has to be the same age as Marty, because of the whole thirty year gap. I think that's silly, though. He could conceivably be ten years older or younger, either way.
needles1987 - July 27, 2007 06:56 PM (GMT)
Miff apparently knew better than to give his son a name that rhymed with his.
bttf44 - July 27, 2007 07:01 PM (GMT)
Yeah, that's true! In The Animated Series, Ziff was actually the name of Griff's grandson - but I'm not sure I really plan to go that far ahead in the future.
needles1987 - August 25, 2007 06:08 PM (GMT)
Biff bullies his son in the Animated Series. He says "Hey Junior!" the same way he said "Hey McFly!"
bttf44 - August 25, 2007 09:55 PM (GMT)
So I guess Biff is pretty hard on his son, and they don't really have a loving relationship?

I don't think Biff really believes in showing affection for children.

bttf4444, do Cliff and Miff exist in your Hell Valley timeline?
bttf44 - January 19, 2008 12:08 PM (GMT)
Yeah, I've always figured so. Shortly after having Miff is probably when Biff divorced from his first wife. So you think Marilyn Monroe might be his second wife? I might possible use that for my stories, as well. Of all, we all know who his third wife was.
needles1987 - January 19, 2008 05:18 PM (GMT)
Actually Marilyn Monroe died in 1962, but that probably changed in Hell Valley.
bttf44 - January 19, 2008 07:10 PM (GMT)
Actually, probably not. I don't think Biff ever really became that powerful until the 1970s. I guess he just ended up marrying someone who looked like her. Then again, maybe Biff did somehow manage to change that part. I probably won't be elaborating on that anytime soon, though. It's an interesting thought, though. Alhought, I'd hate to think of Hell Valley Biff doing anything remotely good (extending Marilyn Monroe's life).
needles1987 - January 27, 2008 09:21 PM (GMT)
So did Miff and Cliff live with their mom growing up in the Hell Valley timeline?
bttf44 - January 27, 2008 09:49 PM (GMT)
Could be possible. I haven't thought too much about that, to be honest.
