Title: What About The Stainless Steel Construction?

Time Travel Fanatic - March 5, 2006 02:22 PM (GMT)
When Marty says "Doc, are you telling me that you built a time machine...out of a Delorean !?", Doc replies with "They way I see it, if you're going to build a time machine, why not do it with some style? And besides, the stainless steel construction makes the...LOOK OUT!"

What do you suppose he would have said if he had more time to finish his sentence?

He says, "...the stainless steel construction makes the flux dispersal... Look Out!"

I don't know exactly what the flux dispersal is, but we can assume that it has something to do with the flux capacitor and that it is a positive effect.

Welcome to the board, Time Travel Fanatic! :) B)

I dunno what he's about to say. Presumably "the flux dispersal" refers to magnetic flux, which implies that it's something to do with the different magnetic properties that stainless steel has over normal steel. What these might be I have no idea.

Another theory could be that it's something to do with the fact that the stainless steel finish means that the car can remain unpainted. The paint on a normal car would act as an electrical resistance. So the conductive nature of the DeLorean could allow for greater/quicker magnetic flux dispersal. Possibly. :)
