We all love 'Back to a Hovering Future',

I had to translate the page of course, I wonder how the google translaters sleep at night, knowing they insert swears into honest websites, tisk tisk

Holy Cow, Shandy!

At first I didn't see it...but cripes...sounds like Austin Powers got loose in there or something! Tsk tsk indeed!

Although your link didn't work...so I'll repost it: http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=e...6lr%3D%26sa%3DG

You've got to wonder though how the heck they translated that...some people are just sick minded!

:george:

PS. Love the Banner! :) Aussies forever!

So can anyone shed light on what went wrong?? I assume it's a genuine mistake? :docs2:

Shandy - January 25, 2006 07:54 PM (GMT)
Perhaps the word for Pine, means the same as their word for . . .

LonePineKath - January 25, 2006 08:32 PM (GMT)
Yes, but in that case why didn't it change Lone Pine at all? It was only the Twins that were in big trouble!

PS It's just as well 'Lone Pine' is safe really, because just imagine the mayhem if I joined a French BTTF message board! :docs2:

Erm, I'm guessing because it's 'twin pines', but 'lone pine' - hence a different word.

In fact if you go to babelfish and type 'pines' in and translate from French to English, you get the same result!

I guess we've all just expanded our French vocabulary!

I always thought 'Baise' was the French verb to... erm... 'procreate', but Babelfish seems to think that it means 'kiss'. I think Babelfish is lying.

:)

When you translate F--k on babelfish to french it come up with baise.
