No Roads... - December 1, 2005 04:31 AM (GMT)
As many have probably heard, Mrs. Wendy Jo Sperber, playing Marty's sister has passed away recently after her 8 year battle with Cancer. She was 42.

My condolences to her family.

That's really too bad. It sounds like she was a very kind and generous person.

She won't be forgotten.

That's too bad. It's good hat she was able to help other people with her charities.

She fought so bravely and was an inspiration to fellow cancer patients. Her work will go on. She made such a difference with her life and will be very missed.

^ Exactly. This news came as a shock to me a couple days ago when I read it (on another 80's-themed message board). :(

I know she'd been appearing at functions and benefits this year, so I had assumed her cancer had been at least slowed down. Sad of an event as this is, she seems to have had a good life, especially through helping others.

RIP "Linda McFly" (who would be 39 now).

I didn't get around to posting this until now.

I was also shocked when I learned the sad news. I knew that Wendie Jo had had Cancer for awhile but this still came to a surprise to me.

I am sure WeSpark will continue on helping others. RIP.

:( I only heard yesterday...it's so sad. I knew she had cancer but I thought she was getting better

But she did lots of great work for cancer charities, which is her legacy which she leaves really. :)

As I'm in the UK I've only just found out now on this board.

She will be missed greatly.

It is sad to watch Linda, and think that the actress who plays her is gone. :(
