The current one that I have now, got it off a CD of images.

Mine has changed a bit. It is currently me and my girlfriend.
I'm with her now, so it seems to be an appropriate avatar.

My fav avatar is the one with Fred in it. It makes me laugh and be scared at the same time!

Anyway, even though I usually change my avatar on other message boards every week or two (it's almost always a scene from a movie, an 80's album cover or a celebrity), it's always been the same here.

A picture of Lea at a 2002 BTTF DVD party (I believe). :wub:

My Lorraine avatar at BTTF.com became such an icon -- since it lead people to think I was a girl many times, LOL -- so I wanted to keep that up here. :D

From a pure technical biological sense, that would be what 1972 Lorraine should look like. :)

I recently changed mine to this "Finding Nemo" one because its a great piece of animation quality. :)

I alternate mine occasionally, mostly its Sam Beckett leaping from the last episode of Quantum Leap, but at the moment I've got a picture of Scott Evil chilling out in a kicking chair... I too one day plan to have a evil empire because they have such cool chairs! :lol: B)

By the way, and I know its a little ironic, but in all the time I've been a member of Bttf.com since they started having the avies and on this board, never has my avatar once been a picture of an actual De Lorean! :blink:

The only reason I have him is because I wanted a temporary avatar while I worked out how to get my own so I just chose one from the list on here! :)

I have now got so attached to his maniacal, toothy grin that I can't bear to part with him... well, not just yet anyway! :)

And in case you were wondering, he got his name when Shandy & I simultaneousy called him Fred, with no previous discussion of a name for him, so it was just 'meant to be'! I guess he just looks like a Fred! :lol:

I'll explain as I deciding whether either go with Lara Croft or the dog one. Chose the dog one after testing out a couple of Lara pics to see if it would work. It didn't.

^ I thought it was kinda interesting to find a dog wearing sunglasses. The board squeezed the pic into 100 x 67 pixels. The enlarged pic is the actual size.

Mine's a picture from my Sims 2 game -- I've been working on a long story involving a Sim version of Doc, whom I've grown up from a toddler. When I sent him to college, he got a pair of pajama pants -- and nothing else -- for sleepwear. Naturally I took advantage of this situation and kept him in his PJs for as much time as possible. That's one of the first pics I took of him topless. :P :docs2:

^ Lol. Mines a photo of me and a friend that another friend took, I chose it because I like it, obviously. :P She set her camera to take the photo in black and white, so that's why the photo's that way. Just in case you were wondering, I'm the dark-haired one. ;)

Mine's from a RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 park based off the movie. it's supposed to be the courthouse in 1955.

Following on from the Accurate Avatars thread, and the fact that I've only really had one avatar since I joined the board (or two which looked very similar), I've decided to change my avatar!

It's now the 360 degree car jump from the movie "The Man With The Golden Gun". I chose it because it is one of the maddest stunts I have ever seen - if you've not seen the movie I urge you to see this stunt!

Mine is me, Shandy, discokev & purplewear at Thorpe Park. It was such a fabulous day! I wish I could go back and re-live that one! :)

The reasoning behind my avatar is I've always been a fan of The Hitch-Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy.

Marvin (the paranoid android) who possesses a "brain the size of a planet" is a hoot in the books with witty (unhelpful) comments, observations and is such a great character!

Marvin was created for us to see for the TV series in the 80's and the 2005 movie and even though I thought the movie dumped most of the best jokes, I quite liked the movie visualisation of Marvin more than anything else.

Don't Panic is the advice given in the front cover of the book "The Hitch-Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy" and is pretty good advice for all situations all over the universe... :)
